What is the criteria of selecting an Imam for Haram?Is it necessary for the Imam to be a born Arab or any person of same qualification can apply for this post?Are there any non Arab Imamas?

^ Agreed. :ma:. It was Awesome. The way in which Shaykh ended the last Aayah: 'Haatha nuzuluhum yawm......' was just so sweet. Baarak Allahu feeh.

Friday's 'Ishaa Salaah in Makkah was Amaaazing. :ma:. Shaykh Aal Taalib recited my forever favourite Surah by him; Surah Noor. ;D. Al hamdu lillah.



Aaaand words cannot describe the Emotional and Inspirational Jum3uah Khutbah by His Eminence, Dr Shaykh 'Abdul Muhsin bin Muhammad al Qaasim last Friday after many weeks of waiting. Subhaan Allah, Shaykh is indeeed gifted with the trait of eloquence.

Personal Opinion:

I Feel Its Ridiculous That A Video Gets Hundreds And Thousands Of Views Because Of Some Reflecting Light On An Individual. I Just Visited Haramain Recordings Website And Thinking People Have Made Such A Big Deal Out Of It. Now 1.5 Million Views. Personally If Haramain Recordings Didnt Even Post That Video On Their Website, I Wouldnt Be Getting Messages With The Video Sent To Me And Most The People On This Part Of The World Wouldnt Have Even Realised. Now Half Of The HR Website Is Covered With 'The Message'. May Allah Grant Us All The Correct Understanding.
 
Saudi Qur'an al-Kareem Channel was playing Sheikh Shuraim recitation from 1415 hijri yesterday evening. They must have put in another year with it to get it complete (i.e. the parts Sheikh Sudais recited), but it was beautiful. That years CD set seems to be famous too.

Shaykh Maahir's Maghrib was also Awesome. :D. Was nyc watching it live after a while.

Loved the Shaykh Sunbul Tableegh in Madeenah Maghrib also. :D.

May Allah grant him Jannatul Firdaus and forgive all his sins. May Allah make his grave a garden from the gardens of Jannah as soon as he is laid in it.

innaa lillaahi wa innaa ilayhi Raaji3oon. May Allah forgive her, grant her Jannatul Firdaws, enlighten her Qabar with Noor making it a bed of roses for her and grant her loved ones Sabr e Jameel. Aameen thumma Aameen.
Janaazah Salaah will be tomorrow after Asr, in Riyaadh, :ia:.
