From now on, please refer to IslamicBoard as IB. We are NOT affiliated with Load-Islam or their articles/etc. I'd like to make that clear.

Out of interest, who or what is Load-Islam, and why the strong differentiation/separation from it? Are there disagreements with Load-Islam? What's wrong with their articles etc?

The font is too small.

If you don't like IB just call it Islamicboard. All Islamic Forums feel the need to abbreviate their names.

Hey, I'm a supporter, doesn't bother me. I always used to get confused when the url said "islamicboard.com" and we said LI, which was "load-islam" and I couldn't remember ever going to that site.

I really didn't expect negative responses to this change, but here's the real reason I changed it.

We do not have any control over Load-Islam, and there are too many articles etc to review. If anything has been made in error, then we are to some extent liable for it. I believe this excuse is reasonable and I hope you guys understand!

lol @ the font being too small. ;D But the real reason is because I don't want the misconception that we are correlated with Load-Islam itself. I don't want to go into too much depth about why we are doing this, but I think it should suffice to say that we are two separate entities, and for several reasons, we don't want people thinking that we support (or unsupport) the articles posted on Load-Islam. I haven't gone through it myself, which is why I am taking this necessary action.
