Well, as much as I would like to do that, we can't. The reason being, with "IslamicBoard" we have SEO (search engine optimization) and high ranks. What we CAN do, if it makes you all happy, is have a link redirect to IslamicBoard.com. But we can't have IslamicBoard.com link to something else.

'Cause us members of this forum need a hype of some sort every now and then to keep them happy. Now it's the "anti-IB" hype. I recall the bunny-signature hype, was fun. And then there were many more I can't remember at the moment.

I don't think many people would actually understand what I was referring to there. Except perhaps Abdullahii, Guven and Jaw. Aadil77 and Hafsah too maybe.

I can see two sides of this coin...:skeleton: both correct in their perspective;here are the views:

Admin br:Rashads view: its for the best that we don't get associated with LI and it's articles. It's complex but if you were in my place you would understand,inshallah.

Majority of members view(oldtimers): we are the older members of this forum,and demand a rechange. (but the thing is,that they don't understand the admins perspective).

:hmm: I hope I summarized the main points...here's my solution: You(majority of members against the name change) should put yourself in the admins perspective and try to imagine the trouble he may be associated because of LI if the name remained.
