Patience Is an Act of Faith
Patience is often imagined as sitting still and waiting without feeling pain. But Qur’anic patience is more than silence. It is continuing to turn towards Allah while the heart is tested.
The Qur’an tells the believers to seek help through patience and prayer, and reminds them that Allah is with those who patiently endure. (Qur’an 2:153)
You may not be able to choose how quickly a difficulty ends. But you can choose where you take your fear, who you ask for strength, and whether you continue walking towards Allah.
Your patience may feel unseen by people, but it is never unseen by Allah. Every moment of endurance can become an act of worship.
