The law in countries like this protect the offender.

If you fight back, you are the one who will be persecuted...

That is why the rapists keep on raping...and the child molesters keep on molesting...they are just getting a slap on the wrist...if that...

How absolutely revolting!
 
OMG the poor sis. Thanks for this article. I'm going to follow up this case. There is a duua specifically for cases like this (injustice). I don't know how far I'll get but I'll try to get in touch with this sister somehow. This is too awful to ignore. :(:(:(

I beg to differ.

They're put on the sex offenders register, and they'll get jail time, where, frankly, they'll get a taste of their own medicine.

Besides, this occured too late after the event to be self-defence, though I do understand why she did it.
 
I've written a letter today but will post it when the post offices open after christmas.

I was wondering if anyone of you has written to sister Haila and furthermore have you received a reply???

This is very old news. You could always try to do a google search I imagine but I doubt you will find much.
Especially since there is no name of the man who was killed and all you would have to go on would be the name of the muslimah, it will be hard to search for.

Not to mention, if she is still in prison, there is not much information available about prisoners. If she is out of prison, she probable wants to turn the page and does not talk much about this dark time in her life.
 
She hid the dead body and tried to escape the law, this is why she became a suspect. She should have phoned the police straight away after neutralising the rapist
 
I can't imagine being in her shoes. May Allah grant her patience and may He make her life easier. This just shows you how screwed up the Kuffars Justice system is.

I am not saying she lied. But trying to get rid of a body without anyone finding out does seem odd. I do understand why she was suspected. Now that does not mean she was not assaulted. It would have been so much easier for her had she just called the police right away.
