AssalamuAlaykum

Masha'Allah I hope you enjoy your stay akhee.

Go to Manhattan insha'Allah and grab a gyro from the place that the bro said ^^ (why are streets numbered in America, its confuzzling) I didnt even know what a gyro was before going to America. I didnt really do much when I went, weekdays I enjoyed the sun and visited family and weekends went to seminar. But manhattan is awesome, its one of them places you cant really capture on camera, you just have to be there. See if you can find the statue of the bull!

Wassalam.

Walaykum Salam, Streets are not usually numbered in Amreeka. Its usually in downtowns where you see numbered streets, other than that you will mostly see street with names.

I've never been to New York myself, heard it is neat.

Yeah. I've heard Chicago is nicer, though. Both cities are always competing to be the best in America, although New York usually comes up on top. Nevertheless, both cities reflect American prosperity, demographic, vision and might.

On an off topic note, I've heard that Melbourne and Sydney also compete to be the best cities in Australia, although that's another thread.

While I do adore the technological and modern wonder of major cities, I prefer it small myself. I live in OC which in turn is right by LA, so Ive lived in the big city or near it all my life. So I'm moving to Vermont in a few years, for that and other reasons too, mostly political.

only in america do they ask such stupid questions

C) Have you ever been or are you now involved in espionage or sabotage; or in terrorist activities; or genocide; or between 1933 and 1945 were you involved, in any way, in persecutions associated with Nazi Germany or its allies? *

I had no idea, lol. Now I could understand if Germany or Austria or even Brazil asked that, but not the US.

What you consider the best cities in the world is entirely down to personal opinion. For example, the best cities I've ever visited are Moscow and St Petersburg, both in Russia. Even if I did visit Makkah and Madinah, I'm not sure they'd make a mark on Moscow or St Petersburg. I'm not sure New York will make much of an impression on me after visiting St Petersburg either, although I'm still very excited to go there.

Trust me I have been to Makkah and Madinah and you will get the best feeling you ever felt in your whole life wooooow. I have been to fancy cities but nothing can beat Makkah and Madinah, I wish i lived in one of those two cities especially Makkah.
Lool at Moscow some crazy city and freezing cold during the winter.

I went to New York in February. It is extremely cold! Make sure you take long johns and lots of layers! And don't go to Boston because that is even worse! :P
On the plus side, it looks very pretty in the snow.

When I went to New York, I got a tour of the place with this company, who are local people and they'll show you places out of the normal tourist area. I think it was called big apple tours or something like that. I'll find out for you and let you know. The guy who took us around was incredible nice and it was really nice to see history of the city outside of the normal tourist places.

I miss New York :(

I love cold weather, all my clothes are made for winter + less fitna

yh I won't need a tour, I've got family ther thatt I'll be going around with
