Okay, I think this is a trick question.

here's my idea:

Three-fours is to be read as 'three 4s' (=12)
So, 12 people are ahead of Judy.
One third of that group is behind. A third of 12 = 4.

So, 12 people ahead, 4 behind. The total number is 16.

P.s : Is the answer "5" ?

if "fourths" is some post in SCOUTs... then three fourths = 3 girls.

n one third of it... is 1, so 3+1+Judy = 5 :brother:

but guess if u like read about then it kindaaaa makes sense....tho looks like its a ermmmm riddle tht went wrng or something..........i just searched it coz if something dnt make sense to me it irritates me n sits on my mind till it makes sense........thts the nly reason......just posted the first 2 pages i viewed.....guess there is more......:)

yh dats y i dint bother 2 go there. all the other answeres r correct i guess u hav to chose 1 for ur self whether its right or wrong no one knows:rollseyes
