Assuming the second tap drains while the first tap fills simultaneously with no delay or interference, then
speed = [(1/2)-(1/3)]tank/h
=(1/6)tank/h

=1tank/6h

Therefore, it takes 6 hours to fill one tank at this rate.

1. A murderer is condemned to death. He has to choose between three rooms. The first is full of raging fires, the second is full of assassins with loaded guns, and the third is full of lions that haven't eaten in 3 years. Which room is safest for him?

It is unusual though. Study it, and think about it, but you still may not find anything odd. But if you work at it a bit, you might find out. Try to do so without any coaching!

5. A farmer has 17 sheep and all but 9 die. How many are left?

6. How many times can you subtract the number 5 from 25?

2. Newspaper?

3. Today.. Yesterday... Tomorrow :giggling:

4.. hmm its red?

5. 9 lol

6.. My friend told me this one... Only ONCE.. because once u subtract 5 from 25.. the next time u subract 5 is gonna be from 20 :giggling:
