"Late one evening, a man and a his wife were driving their car at speed down a country road. The car spun of the road and hit a tree.

The man decided to seek help at a garage a few miles away.

He made sure nobody was in the car, rolled all the windows up, and locked all of the doors.

When he returned, his wife was dead, and there someone in the car he had never seen before.

No physical damage was done to the car, it was still locked?

How did the woman die?

Where did the stranger come from?"

I saw this, but i never saw an answer....anyone knows the answer?

1) Mr.Iqbal was washing windows on a multi story office building when he slipped and fell off his 50-foot ladder directly onto the concrete pavement below, amazingly he didn’t hurt himself at all. How can this be possible?

2) A cowboy rides into town on Friday, stays two days and then leaves on Friday. How is this possible?

3) It is pouring with rain outside, Fahd decides to go outside to get away from his wifes constant nagging (lol) he also knows that he has to buy the vegetables or else there’ll be no dinner for him tonight. He goes to the shop and amazingly comes back with not a single hair on his head wet. How can this be possible?

I'll post a riddle, well I don't know if it is really a riddle , but maybe you might like it.

There is a house . It has 2 floors. There is one room in the first floor, and a room in the second floor and stairs of course to go upstairs. There is a light bulb in the second floor (in the room), but the switch that turns that bulb is in the first floor (in the room). Now in the first floor room, there are three switches. 2 of them don't do anything (don't turn the light bulb on), but the other does. Which one is we don't know. All we know is that one of the three switches turns on the light.

How can you find out exactly which one of the three switches turns on the light (the first? or the second? or the third switch?)?? Remember that you have only one chance to go upstairs and check if the light is on or off.

P.S you have no tools, no cameras , nothing.

Enjoy it :)

easy peasy! you stay in room1 and switch on any 2 switches for example switch 1 and switch 2....then you go upstairs to check if any of the 2 switches that you have pressed earlier did the job of turning the bulb on ,if the bulb is not lit then you simply go back and press the last switch.....?

Lol, okay, everybody's probably heard this one a billion times before, but the first time I heard it, I was ridiculously stuck...

There is a (square) house, of which all four walls are facing south. A bear walks past it.
What colour is the bear??

Riddle thread

Rules: Post a riddle and when the next poster gets it right, they post a riddle. This is free for all. If you are unsure of the answer, don't post your own riddle. If you are sure just go ahead.

Everyone needs it, everyone wants it. It breaks the barriers of language and culture and conquers all distances. It speaks louder than words. It can make people do things they'd never do otherwise. Without it, humanity loses one of its defining aspects. What is it?

Hint: It's not an abstraction, it's a thing.

Re: Riddle thread

I was going to say 'love' ... but I guess that's not a thing. :hmm:

Re: Riddle thread

That is correct. I should explain it, because people I asked this riddle to have said it doesn't make sense sometimes.

Everyone needs it, everyone wants it: People need money to survive and a part of them wants more.

It breaks the barriers of language and culture and conquers all distances. It speaks louder than words.

Self explanatory

It can make people do things they'd never do otherwise: We all know the thing people would be willing to do for money. It can range from something honorable like a career to something as low as a crime.

Without it, humanity loses one of its defining aspects.

That aspect is greed.

Re: Riddle thread

Cool, my turn. :)

I am taken from a mine, and shut up in a wooden case, from which I am never released, and yet I am used by almost everybody.
