This is meant to be a masjid, it's made out of sweet wrappers, it was done by JJ. All eaten by JJ as well, :hmm: How do I make it bigger?

salamu aleikom

well I think that all places where you can worship Allah are great.
Jazak Allahu Khayran for this post...

I think that Hassan 2 Mosque in Morocco, casablanca is well designed as well...but the Kaaba is our beloved one...
peace be with you all

This is a thread for people of all different religions where we can share images of our Holy Places, eg. Mosques, Churches and Temples, in the spirit of interfaith relations.

We spent today in Coventry. One of the things we did was to look at the cathedrals - the old one which was destroyed by German bombers in 1940 and which ruins remain as a memorial; and the new, modern cathedral.

In both places I could feel a great peace and calm.
I am posting some pictures, which I hope will be appropriate in this forum.

In the old cathedral ruins, at the place where the altar would have been, has been places a rough cross, made from the charred beams of the old cathedral. A very moving sight ... but for obvious reasons I won't post a picture here.

Peace :)

This is a pic of a mosque and church in downtown Beirut. In Lebanon, it's very common to find a church and a mosque right next to each other. You regularly hear both Christian church bells and the muezzin's call to Muslim prayer at the same time. :)

People, people, people why don't you know you don't actually need a temple. I love and have faith with ALL of me, I don't deed a temple or the like to worship Him for who He is the LORD GOD. But still, you have your own opinion and I'll respect that.

These are not actually pictures of Holy Places, but I dont know where else to put it. During the time of Easter, in many european catholic countries we have procession of Misterium of Lord's Torment. There are processions of believers wearing clothes from the time Christ in the middle of Europe and it looks quite interesting.

I think hassan 2 mosque in casablanca is really impressive. the architecture is not groundbreaking but the ornamental works are incredible.
