I do not want to complain, but I feel as this is quite important especially in some of the more important/serious forums.

At times, there are occasions that people lose their maturity, and with it their self respect...

There is a certain way of speaking, which should definately be avoided on an Islamic forum, such as: Awww bwess...and u kno..the common slang/ganster language....

Also, maturity in general, some people tend to act slightly, well, what can i say? Just immature. There's nothing wrong with that at times, but not all the times.

I hope I haven't offended nobody, Just a thought.....

yeah true man, my apologies people I act totally immature at tyms but i cant help it! sowi!

I also think that a certain level of maturity also means writing correctly. The post above is hard to understand. If she took the time and maturity to write, it would be comprehendable.

''she'' has gotta name and sorry if u cant understand my post its just the way I write...U a bit harsh in ya reply :rollseyes. Im a fast typer doesnt mean i dont take enuf time 2 write it properly nor does it mean that i write immaturely :rollseyes

I think it is necessary to look at what you write. It doesn't matter if you are a fast typer or not. I am not trying to be harsh, but I have tried to read several of your posts, and I find them hard to read. They are somewhat immature because with maturity comes patience. Don't be in such a rush to post, take your time and make sure people can understand what you are saying.

ass salaamu alaykum

i agree with you akhee...that has been on my mind too for quite a while aswell....
it's either childishness/immaturity or this rude/bad person act that really is annoying!!!:heated:
i know ppl do get carried away at times(i do too) and let the inner child comes out or what have you, but plz do try to keep a cap on it for most of the time inshaAllah!!....:-\

i'm glad you bought this up akhee:thumbs_up

:rollseyes WHATS SO HARD TO UNDERSTAND ABOUT MY WRITING? Its the way every1 writes, all I do is abbreviate a little- like YOU 4 example= U ??? Understand? :rollseyes...plus I think before U judge a persons maturity U shud luk at the CONTENT of the post rather then how they write or type..and i dont be in a rush 2 post

.and i dont be in a rush 2 post
* I am not in a rush to post. Abbreviations are ok occasionally, like when you are talking to a good friend on instant messenger. However, I would think you would want to be respected. When people use so many abbreviations and poor english, it makes them appear childish and dumb.

if u dont understand dis.. or wat sis pink n posh sayz den ignore us.. simple :)

im sorry, we'v had dis topic b4, and i aint changin 4 no-one..

If you decide to post like that, then don't expect to be respected by other people in the forum.

Harsh, but that's reality, we need to learn to accept it, and work on our weak points, the style a person speaks/writes, also reflects on the maturity/wisdom/intelligence of that person.

A person writing like this is far more respected and shows their maturity more, rathr thn wen ppl writ lyk dis, u get me sis?

yup i getz u.. but i stik wid ma word yh, i dnt change 4 no1..

sis b4 bro Iqram, u dont speak 4 other people on this forum do u? nope, so speak 4 urself.. iz dat kool? or wait, u want me 2 rite in perfect english so u understand? if u do, lemme kno..

I have created a thread on the topic of writing/typing correctly, and there are many people who agree. I have been stating that I would love you and others to write in correct English.

many.. not all..
