I actually agree with this statement... Zoroastrians and Hindu scriptures or any of the other (philosophies/mythology) aren't of divine origin.... I suspect the traveling caravans passed information back and forth, based on the events of the time. And they incorporated it, into their books. I don't believe their books of importance as those five mentioned to us as Muslims...
Scrolls of Abraham, Psalms of David, the Torah, the Gospel and of course the Quran-- Even other accompaniments that the so-called "People of the Book" have as interpretation of their own scriptures, I don't consider divine or of importance.. and therefore wouldn't be looking for any truth in them....

peace!

Why would you want your "prophet" to be evident in Hindu pagan scriptures? I view that as completly negative.
I personally regard it as an insult to put our Prophet in pagan books or to look for him there, when we have our own Books to confirm him, then why do we look for him there?

We don't. Indians like Zakir Naik do in some perverse hope of either avoiding persecution at hands of hindtva and/or in hope of selling more tapes and videos of their lectures for there is profit in contraversy

over 4 billion people say it every sunday if not daily

Ah, so saying a human being who was nothing but the messenger of God, is GOD. Is correct because ''4 billion'' people claim it so.... :rollseyes

As sister Ambrosia states. the Gita was written many many years after Krishana. So we don't really know the influence of the author. I'll have to look more into it.

4 Million? Way to high buddy. :p
Surely, 4 Million is a typo
4 billion!?! A bit lower I would say... :?
you are correct. I used the wrong formula. I sort of deducted Muslims from total population. It is actually 2.1 billion and dropping.

According to David Barrett, editor of the "World Christian Encyclopedia:
These data are based on census or public opinion data.1Thus, a person is considered to be of a particular religion if they say that they are of that faith. Thus, about 75% of the adults in both the U.S. and Canada are Christians. Many individuals and religious groups have much more strict definitions for membership. Many conservative Christians believe that one has to be "born again" in order to be counted as a Christian. Using this definition, only about 35% of Americans would be counted as Christians. This difference in definitions between conservative Christians and the rest of the population causes much confusion. Some of the approximately 1,000 Christian faith groups in the U.S. and Canada believe themselves to be the only true Christian denomination. Thus, depending on the definition used, the percentage of Christians in the U.S. are between 0.1 and 75% of the total population.

That is not a good thing by any means, because these Christians who are dropping are becoming atheists/agnostic.

in islam we say that either you are obeying Allah or Obying your own mind or what pleases your logic.

in islamic perspective:
both of them are going to hell and both of them are actually following the steps of Satan

but i think that the polytheist or the one who worships idols is easier to be guided and to finding the right path than the one who totally denies the Existence of his creator.

A normal jewish answer would have been:

Both are bad none is better than the other:
What would you like more jumping from the 10th floor or from the 11th?

But that is not the Jewish answer, that is YOUR answer. Judaism maintains that schituf is not as bad as atheism. YOUR answer might be different however, since your answers do not always coincide with Judaism. Both are terrible and under no circumstances may you do them, but one is worse.

Noe didnt you see that one jumps from the 10th floor and the other one from the 11th? Are you really Jewish? Where is your seichel(brain)?

Let me explain to you then what I posted:

Both are bad none is better than the other:
What would you like more jumping from the 10th floor or from the 11th?

The 10th floor one could think but it doesnt really matter. Because reward of both will be the same.

You must be kidding. First your religion is undisclosed and you have heretical ideas, and you do not keep Torah laws posting here on yom tov. But anyway, let me tell you, Jewish law CLEARLY states that assosiating partners with G-d is better then not believing in him all together.

Your "10th floor" analogy makes no sense according to Judaism. Maybe it is a "King Davidism" religious belief. There are also different punishments for each to let you know.

well as i know from the Quran and Sunna that the hell does have levels.

and i know that the hypocrite (they show islam but in their hearts they hate it) will be in the bottom of hell wich is the lowest level.

so of course their are different punishments that depends on the non muslim's deeds

Course it does not matter at all to a Hindu what the Koran or Tanach or Bible say since the Hindu scriptures were written way before all of those.
