I actually agree with this statement... Zoroastrians and Hindu scriptures or any of the other (philosophies/mythology) aren't of divine origin.... I suspect the traveling caravans passed information back and forth, based on the events of the time. And they incorporated it, into their books. I don't believe their books of importance as those five mentioned to us as Muslims...
Scrolls of Abraham, Psalms of David, the Torah, the Gospel and of course the Quran-- Even other accompaniments that the so-called "People of the Book" have as interpretation of their own scriptures, I don't consider divine or of importance.. and therefore wouldn't be looking for any truth in them....
