QUIZ: How much SUNNAH do U KNOW?!?!?

as salaamu alaykum,

Saheeh, No I don't think that it isn't permissable wallahu a3lam!!

that's ....no!!! :heated: uh uh!! :heated:

law kaana dhalik la'stankarathuu al-3ulamaah...right!!??

hey maw!1...unduriy ilaa 3adad al-postaat haqee, ana atakallam katheer am maadha!?? ;D :X

This is some Fawaa'id which I got concerning Shoes :D But as far as I can see it does not say anything concerning shoes with straps or shoes without straps. I'll just post some of the points it makes :
It is Disliked for a man or a woman to wear Shoes which makes loud noises.

Ibn Umar Used to wear Shoes of the Sibtiyyah type(tanned leather) and he used to mention that Rasulullah used to wear Shoes like that.

It's Sunnah for the Khuff To be red, but if it's Black thats also ok.

عن ابن عباس رضي الله عنهما قال من لبس نعلا صفراء لم يزل ينظر في سرور ، ثم قرأ { صفراء فاقع لونها تسر الناظرين }
Ibn Abbas said " Whoever wears shoes of a yellow color than he shall be looked at in a pleasing way" and then he recited the Verse in surah Baqarah "It is a bright yellow color and pleasing to look at "

But still Allahu A3lam about the other one which Brother Dhul is talking about :?

Sis Maw i wish i had my daraaree daftar, the sheikha gave us a looooong faa'idah bout the 3imaamah, it was really nice too, only i don't remember it properly so i won't write it inshaAllah.
wearing the 3imaamah whilst performing wudhuu
Mugheera may Allah be pleased with him said he saw the messenger alayhi salaatu wasssalaam wipe his forehead his turban/3imaamah and his khuffayn, in muslim.
The preferance of wearing a black 3imaamah and letting the ends come down between the shoulders
3an 3amre bin hurayth, he said i saw the messenger alayhi salaatu wassalam on the minbar, he had a black turban and its ends were coming down between his shoulders, muslim.

Hadeeth Jaabir that the prophet alayhi salaatu wassalaam on the day he entered Mecca (yawmul fat7-opening of Mecca) he wore a black turban.

this is all i have 3azeezatee ( if you have more plz share, its good muraaji3ah)

next one sunnah of tajmeel, making yoursef beautiful

Ok then Umm-sulaim......Jazakillah Khair for your Fawaa'id

However since it seems that no one else is interested in posting any Fawaa'id I think I'll have to answer my own question :(

So here are some Sunnah's of the 'Imaamah :

Letting it hang between the shoulder Blades

From Ibn Umar, He said " Rasulullah Salalllahu alaihi wa sallam used to let his Imaamah hang between his shoulders whenever it was 3atamah (Ishaa time)
Ibn Naafi3' said " And Ibn Umar used to let his 3imaamah hand between his shoulders "

The piece of 3imaamah hanging from the back should be the lenght of 4 fingers

Rasulullah peace be upon him Dressed Abdurrahmaan ibn Awf in an 3imaamah and he let it hang from behind him by the length of 4 fingers or close to that. And then he said " Wear your 3imaamah like this, for it is more like the Arabs and More Better "
As-Suyuuti said " It's chain of narration is Hasan"

( My dad used to wear his 3imaamah short like that, he looked so good :D )

Wrapping the Imaamah around the head ( Like the Yemenis innit Gals :thumbs_up )

al-Bayhaqee Related a Hadeeth in his book "Shu3ab al-Iman" From Ibn Salaam Bin Abdillah Bin Salaam, He said , " I asked Ibn Umar How did Rasulullah use to wear his Imaamah" Ibn Umar replied " He used to wrap it around his head and let it hang from behind his head and he used to let a piece of it hang from between his shoulders "

I just love seeing men wearing the 3imaamah!!!!

Ok I think this is enough fawaa'id for the Imaamah.......Does anyone want to take the next Question Insha'allah!! I'm plumb tired out :exhausted

Permission to ask :peace:
Ladies, I know wearing imamah is fi'liyah from Rasulullah but is there qouliyah that explain the ajr/reward of wearing imamah? :sunny: Cause all I know the hadiths about the reward of wearing imamah is all not sa7ee7 (is this means saheeh? ), Allahu a'lam. And I ever heard explanation IF in some country its not usual to wear imamah then by wearing it that mean we wear something suhrah clothes that make us different from the others.
And I ever had explanation taht wearing imamah just urf/tradition and doesnt have reward at all. But Allahu A'lam maybe for this matter everyone who doing it still have ajr cause of hadith "verily all amal according to the niyah". And following Rasulullah in every aspect of his life -shalallahu alaihi wasallam- is the best thing that we must do and its explain the level of iman from one muslim and theres a lot of ajr for following him, may Allah make us a strong follower of Him, ameen.
PS. Ooh yeah, I read syaikh Albani rahimahullah said that its sunnah tradition and not sunnah ibadah.
Maybe someone can add more explanations, sukran jazeelan katheeran.

Actually the question too wide isnt it? Cause it can be mean about clothes, hair, in salah, in eid etc. But I'll do it whatever I get insha Allah.

- Quran says:

"O Children of Adam! wear your beautiful apparel at every time and place of prayer: eat and drink: But waste not by excess, for Allah loveth not the wasters." (Al A'raaf: 31)

- May not make your self pretty (adorned) with something haram, such as pulling your eyebrow, wearing a wig (fake hair), cuting hair too short etc. And may not wearing silk, gold, isbal, cutting beard, etc for men.

The best dress is a white dress, Rasulullah said:"You should wear a white dress, cause white more pure/clean, better, and kafan mayit with white clothes". (An Nasaai and tasheeh by Al Hakim)

- Men may wear a ring from silver as Rasulullah used to wear and he wore it in his left pinkie/little finger. (Hadith Muslim)

- May not dress like opposite sex as Rasulullah said:"Allah curse a man who looklike women and women who looklike men" (HR. Bukhari)

- The best groom is with a dress of taqwa. Quran says:

"O children of Adam, we have provided you with garments to cover your bodies, as well as for luxury. But the best garment is the garment of righteousness. These are some of GOD's signs, that they may take heed." (Al A'raaf: 26)

-Rasulullah said:" You can eat, drink, dressing and shadaqah without stinginess and conceit". (HR. Bukhari)

-Ibnu Abdil Barr in At Tahmid said "Actually ahli ilm said its mustahab for someone who have ability to groom with a nice clothes, perfume and siwak when he wanna do salah".

- Umar bin Khattab said in riwayah Thohawi in Syarah Ma'anil Atsar:"Allah have more right for you to groom"

- The dress must be enough to close the aurah, and not thin etc.

Maybe the girls wanna add more about colouring their hair, or make holes in their ears more than one holes (what you call it?), or wearing what? What do U call to colour your nails? :rollseyes Ooh yes...its hienna right? :peace: please explain about these along with the daleels, insha Allah manfaat for girls.

[PIE]:peace: The topic not finish yet :thumbs_up [/PIE]

I remember a Shiekh saying, that it is not sunnah, but if one wears it with the niyyah that he is following the Sunnah of the Prophet salalaahu 3alayhi wasallam, then he is rewarded for it..wallahu a3lam!!

MashaAllah Jazaakallah khayr for answering the question :thumbs_up
