Nafs al-ammara is mentioned where in the Quran?

Suurat Yusuf , verse 53

And about TrueMeasure's question, i think its (ajal) because ajal means na3am.....even though when in the quran it says ajal musama is another meaning, but still i think ajal means na3am...

Re: Qur'an Challenge!

nice try Muslimah but nope thats not the one i'm after :)

i don't think you would hear your average arab using the word i'm looking for when saying yes!

i will give the arabic word for it soon... even then it will still be a challenge :)

Re: Qur'an Challenge!

Assalamu'Alaykum

The Spanish soaps that are dubed over with Fus'ha arabic... on the arabic channels, ( its so pathetic btw)thats maybe where you would find them saying Ajal meaning Na3am

*Ajal - Literally appointed time, moment of death, or lifespan

Re: Qur'an Challenge!

Ajal - Literally appointed time, moment of death, or lifespan

thats right...but it also means na3am....

Father: yaa bunnaya hal salayta al-fajr...
son: ajal yaa waalidii ....

thats simple example.......

Re: Qur'an Challenge!
