ok the word i'm looking for is a two letter arabic word and it starts with 'alif' (hehehe i think you still wont get it!)

yes its just once in the Quran if my memory serves me well! Bro khaldun will be able to confirm otherwise if i am wrong. Talking of whom... MASHAA ALLAH i am genuinely impressed! you dont fail to surprise me! May Allah preserve and strengthen your memorisation and make the Quraan as a source of goodness for you in this dunya wal aakhira!

Did you know that 'that' word was arabic for 'yes'?

barakAllah Feek brother *embarssed* yes I remember learning that bit as sabak and that word did actually stop me, as I thought what can this word mean? Then alhamdulilah I understood it. And yes it seems to be only once in the entire Quran.

From that question other Questions can be derived but i'll just wait until more members get the word inshAllah

" wa qaala aladiin kafaroo la ta'tiinaa alsaa3a qul balaa warabi lata'tiyanakum....." ilaa aakhir alaayah

"za3ima aladiin kafiruu an lan yub3ithuu qul balaa wa rabii latub3athana....." waa ilaa aakhir alaayah....


By the way Zak...you shouldnt have give your answer in public..others could also have a try....hmmm

Allahi( haa maksuurah) is soo many times in the quraan alkariim...mention at least five.....

oh thats true.....but never mind..as long as i got it before you hehee....so tell me how did you get it???

Me, the clue brothermeasure gave us(harfu alif) helped me actually, otherwise i dont think i'd get it.

sabaa and taghaabun. you gave this one before to me... the time when i kept on popping out with "qaalu balaa wa rabbina" instead :confused:

Muslimah how about an AYAH that BEGINS with "Allahi" to make it a bit more challenging??
