Gems Reminder of Today

:sl:

The Prophet (pbuh) was the most generous of people, and he was most generous during the month of Ramadan. He was more generous with his good deeds than the blowing wind. The Messenger of Allah also said, "The best charity is one given during Ramadan."

[Al-Tirmidhi]

This is very good advice. Stopping Movies,TV shows, music may seem difficult for some at first but it will definitely be better for you. It will allow you to get closer to Allah and see the world in an entirely new light. In Sha Allah we can all implement this advice in our lives.

Christians came to debate King Harun Ar Rashid. King Harun Ar Rashid asked Al Shafi, who was a boy at that time to debate them. Al Shafi threw his prayer rug on the river, and standing on it told the Christians: "come here and we'll debate".

Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family) once prayed for rain; no sooner did he put down his hands that clouds gathered and it was raining for a week (see Bukhari).

Umar once sent a letter to the Nile, and when the Nile received it, it started to flow again.

Ibrahim Adham once woke up, in his palace, which roof was transparent, to find a man over his roof walking. The man asked Ibrahim Adham if he saw his camel. Ibrahim Adham was surprised asking him how could he be looking for his camel on a roof. Then the man told him, more or less:

"there is more chance for me to find my camel on this roof than for you to find God in the midst of this luxurious lifestyle".

Then Ibrahim Adham gave up his kingdom, went away from it and repented.

Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family) said the Muslims will split into 73 factions, and only one will be saved.

This is enough admonition.

The Qur'an, the book of Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family) says ''A.L.M".

This is enough admonition.

Praise be to God the Lord of the worlds and praise be to the beloved of the Lord of the worlds.

The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "The believer's shade on the Day of Resurrection will be his charity." [Tirmidhi]

Can somebody please inbox me a personal message and tell me how to start a thread? I don't know how to ask my own question on this forum. I dont see the option. Jazakallah

Revive a Sunnah :

Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:
Be in this world as if you were a stranger or a traveler.
[Reference: Sahih Al-Bukhari]

"And amongst us is the Messenger of Allah who recites his book..."

Ibn Rawaha

This is enouh admonition.

It's Sunnah to fast ‪#‎Ayyam_al_Beed‬ (13,14,15 of a Lunar / Arabic month).

This month (Shawwal), it corresponds to July 30, 31 and August 1 coming Thursday, Friday and Saturday in Bangladesh.
.

“It is sufficient for you to fast three days every month, because for every good deed you will have (the reward of) ten like it, so that will be like fasting for a lifetime.”
Bukhaari (1874); Muslim (1159).

“If you fast any part of the month, then fast the 13th, 14th and 15th.”
Tirmidhi (761); Nasaa’i (2424).
[authenticated by al-Albaani]

if your iman dips low, you miss some obligatory prayer etc
dont sweat
Ask Allah's help and try again and again and again.

Bismillah

We all face temptations daily. Being tempted is not a sin, it is normal. When we give into it, that is a sin. May the Almighty protect us all!

Assalamu-Alaikum and Greetings !

Ashura of Muharram

With Ashura at our doorsteps, this is a reminder for you to fast the two days of Ashura on the 9th and 10th of Muharram (or 10th and 11th of Muharram 1437 AH). Per Makkah calendar, 10th of Muharram corresponds to 24th October, 2015.
Another point to note for the month of Muharram is the authentic hadith by the prophet mentioned in Sahih Muslim (hadith # 1163) where he (s.a.w.s.) says, "The best fasting after Ramadan is the month of Allaah Muharram, and the best prayer after the obligatory prayer is prayer at night."

The main solution for parents in dealing with boyfriend-girlfriend relationships is to give their young children the proper love and attention they need. Teach them how to feel good about themselves and Islam, and acknowledge the good things they do by praising them for their achievements.
