Assalamu Alakium,
I reverted to Islam a little of a year ago, and shortly after I took shahadda, my twin sister also did alhamdaliah. This year has been growing experience for the both of us we have learned more about the religion and have worked to steady increase our deen. A few months ago, I started start to wear Hijab. Not an actual hijab but an infinity scarf, that I wrap around my hair for coverage. It works okay, but sometimes I feel like I am still not properly covered because I wear jeans and shirts that are somewhat tight. I do not want to displease Allah, I do try my best to cover as commanded. But being a college student and disowned by our parents after reverting to Islam, I can not afford to buy abayas or hijabs. They are so expensive in the USA. Does anyone know where I can receive help? or where me and my sister can purchase modest clothing for a low price?
