i hate it, why is it hard?

why did they make it hard and was it necessary to make it hard? why can't every single human being go to school and easily pass and get a degree and get a job? why the heck are they making life harder than it already is?

for the people that are in college, are you people able to get a degree easily without getting frustrated?

because i want to get a degree the easy way not the stupid hard way

btw im in college, but it sucks

and even being PATIENT to make the hardship pass by quicker isn't really gonna make me feel better.

im a pretty impatient person right now.

i just want to get lots of **** money and just get whatever the hell i want.

There certainly are colleges that make getting a degree a cakewalk, so you could always look at transferring to one of those. Or...... you could think about how much this degree will mean to you once you have worked hard and earned it as opposed to being handed it. :)

How far along are you in college and what are you looking at earning a degree in? Is it all courses you find difficult or just certain ones? Have you looked into seeing if your school offers tutoring or other services? In some Uni's, if you have a special need, such as ADHD, then you can even apply for special accommodations like extra time to take exams, taking them in isolated rooms (free form distractions), etc. How much do you find yourself studying each week?

I'm kinda feeling lazy because I just want life to be easy for me and I want no hardships, but if I continue to get hardships with no relief and satisfaction, I hope to god that I will die in my sleep, there is absolutely no point in living in a world full of hardships with hardly any oppurtunity to succeed.

If the need ever arises that you need cardiac surgery. would it make you comfortable if you knew the cardiologist graduated from a university that did not require any testing or mandatory classes. Everybody passed just by showing up for class.

Better yet how about the next time you board an airplane the pilot graduated from an aviation school that only required the cadets to attend 70% of their classes and did not require any actual solo flight practice.

It is true college is hard and you have to earn at least a 90% average to pass with an acceptable grade. But it usually lasts only 4 years and after that you spend the next 40 to 50 years in the world where you need to always have a 100% grade average and one error in your entire working career can and usually will bring a fast inglorious end to your chosen career.

Sadly a college degree does not guarantee wealth and it often proves to be a hindrance to wealth. If a person's desire is to earn a high income, college/university is usually not the route to do so. When a person goes to university for the sole purpose of earning a high income, they have wasted their time, the time of the teachers and took up space that could have benefited a person who sought an education, not a pay check.

It is through the hardships that we are refined and grow.

No college, no uni = master of the custodial arts:thumbs_up

IT MIGHT SOUND FANCY BUT I'LL TELL YOU , YOU GONNA GET DIDDLEY SQUAT! DOING THAT JOB
SO GET BACK INTO EDUCATION!!!!!

you shud hook up with some pakistani parlimentarians

they know where the best deals on degrees are

the minimum wage here to get job without degree is higher then a lot of countries, europeans over flood the country.. they come here for at least 5 or 6 years and they buy houses in poland or where ever there from or they set up there own buisness.. this is a way to faster method of getting wealthy quick but if you really want to learn then you might aswell forget about money if your not patient.

Jannah is not Easy to enter! so we must work hard and do it all to please Allaah!
Fasting is hard for some as college maybe for some, but we all try to put our efforts in to achieve the best results, so if we sit and complain all day we will achieve nothing.

Its like saying lets build every room just in ONE room, like unfold the bathroom out, bedroom etc bla bla bla, just being lazy and we dont want to have make the effort! Aaah if only life was that easy , we wouldnt have to work hard to strive for Jannah!

Think of how much Allaah SWT has given us, but we just wanna make it more "Easy" and think we will please him, but we dont realise how easy Allaah has made it for us already. lemme give some examples: Like cars we drive them so we dont have to walk from A to B, you would be suprised how far this A and B is sometimes :-\, only a few metres! but the lame excuse "im too lazy", but what about the times when the Prophet Saw would walk it miless to get to his destination and are we not the Ummah of the Rasool SAW? Do we feel we dont have to follow him anymore?

Erm another example The prophet SAW was a King SubhaanAllaah (this makes me cry), yet he only had a really small house and slept on camel skin (correct me if im wrong) and leaves, and it left marks on his blessed body sallahu alaayhi wa salam and he didnt complain!, you know he could have made it easier like buy huge mansions etc etc, but he didnt!, and lemme ask you, are you(i even ask myself) are we different to the prophet SAW? yes, as he was the messenger but he was still human like us he never said he was superior, even Prophet Isa (as) said he was neither superior over the Prophet Muhammad SAW.

Erm and my point is we should stop complaining about ridiculous small things in life and think about things seriously if we do find it difficult then ask Allaah SWT to make it easy for you and i also ask Allaah your creator and mine to make it easy for you and the Ummaah and the whole of mankind.

and like sistah Pouringrain said move to a diff school/college or dont go!

And forgive me if i didnt make sense or was a lil harsh, hopefully i helped inshaAllaah

Wa`Alaaykum Salaam

Maybe you should try a trade if you find academic work too hard. Tradesmen make good money and you might enjoy being useful instead of reading books all day. There is a global shortage of tradespeople because everybody seems to want to be a business executive or computer geek. Hard physical work can give you a good feeling and is better for your health than sitting around all day reading boring books.
Btw what is success? Having lots of money and stuff? If you set your goals to be more realistic you will be happier.
Nearly everybody has a miserable life, you just have to battle on and try and enjoy yourself, till death takes out your light and gives you eternal night.:skeleton:

Everytime you feel like you cannot go on
You feel so lost
That your so alone
All you is see is night
And darkness all around
You feel so helpless
You can’t see which way to go
Don’t despair and never loose hope
Cause Allah is always by your side

Insha Allah
Insya Allah you’ll find your way

Lol..I was listening to this nasheed right when I came across your post ^_^.

Salamu Alekum

Firstly, I can absolutely understand what you feel brother, studying is frustrating and long, and with uni it can take up to 7 years or more like in my case. But I ask you brother, is this how we are? Weaklings seeking life to flow like a river with no obstacles? Where is the test of Allah to us then, if we just finish things easily and get money and have fun then die and go to Paradise?
I would say no. Life is not to be so easy and yet Allah subhanah wa Taalah does not put anything on anyone that is more than that person's power, simply because Allah does not want hardship for us but at the same time He does not want us to be lazy and useless.

All around you, you can see people with so much money and they are able to get all what they want in this world, but are they happy? Most aren't because they get lost in this world and forget that the real wealth lies in Paradise. Yes there are happy rich people but that's because they have strived in their life while balancing between studies and seeking Allah's path and therefore, they receive their reward in Paradise inshallah.

What I can tell you brother is not to let Satan get onto you and make you lose faith in Allah and get your mind and heart clinging to this world. Always remember that your patience will be rewarded by Allah inshallah, and every hardship you have will raise your value in Paradise inshallah.
And you know, when I get a hardship, I smile, beacause I feel that my degree is going higher and that Allah wants to forgive me by this hardship.

So we should say alhamdulilah and ask Allah for forgiveness for being impatient. Instead of wishing our life to end, we should ask Allah to make us live longer so that we can do more good deeds.

May Allah guide you brother, ameen

but what is the use of education being so hard though? Allah probably doesn't consider education a test, he only tests us on what good or bad we do.

basically education being hard is unnessesary and stupid.

why would allah want to put someone in a bad position when allah already knows that person is not gonna succeed in anything?

Dear brother, Allah subhanah wa Taalah judges us according to all our actions, so is it really right that we just sit idle and wait for wealth to come?
Well, if you ask me, I hate education, especially when am studying what am not interested in, so its like feeding meat to a chicken. That's why I said I know how you feel coz I am going through the same, I would like to work now and start earning a living rather than spending all my time studying what am not going to be working anyway.
However, there are times in life that seem hard and useless to go through, but it's what Allah destined for us and its not for us to question Allah's will but rather remember that anything that happens to us is for the good even if it doesn't seem so because Allah loves us and He wants the best for us.

What is the purpose of Education?

I suspect you have a mistaken idea as to why a person seeks an education and not only welcomes the challenges but later regrets that it was not many times more difficult.

Salaams,
Here are some duas that might help you. Surely if you say the dua, having strong faith in Allah, he will bless you. And inshAllah you will be successful in your studies and career if you recite these duas each time before studying and taking exams. One can't just say the dua and expect to be successful they must put in hard word and study hard also.

Imam al-Haddâd encouraged his students to read the following intention before studying:

All praise is to Allah, Lord of the Worlds. And salutations and greetings upon our master Muhammad and upon his family and companions. I intend to study and teach, take and give a reminder, take and give benefit, take and give advantage, to encourage the holding fast to the book of Allah and the way of His messenger, and calling to guidance and directing towards good, hoping for the countenance of Allah and His pleasure, proximity and reward, transcendent is He.

Dua for after studying:
“Allahumma inni astaodeeka ma qara’tu wama hafaz-tu. Farudduhu ‘allaya inda hajati elahi. Innaka ‘ala ma-tasha’-u qadeer wa anta hasbeeya wa na’mal wakeel”
“Oh Allah! I entrust you with what I have read and I have studied. Oh Allah! Bring it back to me when I am in need of it. Oh Allah! You do whatever you wish, you are my availer and protector and the best of aid.”

Dua while studying something difficult:
“Allahumma la sahla illama ja-’altahu sahla anta taj ‘alu al hazana eza ma shi’ta sahal.”
“Oh Allah! Nothing is easy except what you have made easy. If you wish, you can make the difficult easy.”

i think i've tried this before, but it didn't really work, i guess this means that Allah really doesn't care whether we do good or bad in education.

-_- *sighs*... Allah does care. "The seeking of knowledge is obligatory for every Muslim. [...]"-Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) Allah always wants the best for his slaves. This is probably the last thing you want to hear right now, but you have to have patience and keep working hard putting your faith in Allah.Be patient (in adversity); for, verily, God will not let the reward of the righteous be wasted.-The Holy Quran, Chapter 11, Verse 115.

How long do I have to be patient? And when will I really be happy with my life?

I really wish I wasn't born, because I wouldn't have to experience stupid hardships and torture myself with education and etc.

to tell you the truth, i have never been truly happy with my life and I don't know when i will, I'm just really stressed right now.

Awh =( I'm sorry. Yeah education isn't for everybody...but I've heard this hadith where when one suffers in this life, Allah is preparing them for the hearafter so that when they are judged by Allah they aren't carrying any sins. Because their suffering in this life is taking away the sins for when they go to be judged in front of Allah and enter Heaven.
