Those are maggot morsels I like em a bit rubbery the worms I like crunchy ..

I assume the maggots are cooked as pasta is, and they're huge for maggots, maybe they're a different kind:hiding:

koshari is a quintessential Egyptian dish.. it is composed in this order of white rice, topped with black boiled lentils if you can see either of those I tend to put little of them on the plate and more of the last three ingredients which are elbow macaroni pasta sauce then hot sauce which I skip and loads of fried onions.. Probably one of the best country girl meals you'll have..
