Thanks, Periwinkle.
I remember taking the picture in a bit of a hurry, because I worried that the rising sun would melt the delicate ice shapes before I could take the shot!
It was good timing - lit up by the sun but not yet melted. 5 Minutes later and I might have been too late ...

Choco cake anyone??

Our town's annual lantern festival. This robot stood at least 10 foot tall and was made by the local primary school children. Neat!

Reminds me of the movie the wicker man which was made before I was born but am glad I got to see it reflects today's society in many ways

A bit more cheery perhaps. :)

I saw the Wicker Man once. Scary movie!

Today was a very frosty day and the freezing fog had made pretty frosty patterns ...
Sadly I didn't manage to get out until lunch time, when it was starting to melt.

^ SubhanAllah beautiful love it
I was very disappointed not to get out of the office before lunchtime.
The morning was SPECTACULAR with the completely white trees set against a pale pink morning sky. God's creation is so beautiful!

Yesterday I took a rare trip to London to go to the German embassy. I had a great day, just wandering around and taking in the scenery.

Here are a few images:

I didn't stop to eat at Covent Garden. Do you recommend it?

I cropped the picture to cut out the Merry Christmas sign ...
We took our children to London some years back, when my son was perhaps 10 or so. He was very unimpressed and thought that "everything looked like at home, only bigger". ;D

But he LOVED Covent Garden - especially the street artists.
