I never cease to be amased at the abundance of beauty Allaah(swt) has given us to enjoy in nature. we are so blessed with beauty and one of our greatest gifts is the ability to see beauty in the simple things around us.
The simple beauty of dandelions growing down the center strip of a dirt driveway.
Unexpected flowers in with the weeds
A secluded path through the forest
A clump of birch trees
The sight of early spring buds on a tree
A tall tree silohetted against a morning sky
Allaah(swt) has given us so much when we were given a sense of beauty in nature and the ability to love His creations.

Even the symmetry of a weed popping up in the lawn has beauty.
Young maple leaves just begining to unfold
wild strwberries popping up through the thatch with their promise of delicacies later in the year.
Allaah(swt) has given us beauty in all of our lives, we only need to look for it.

Just a silly snapping turtle Aaabidah and I found walking down a highway yesterday. we moved her to a marsh so she wouldn't get squashed. she was trying to bite my leg in this pict.
Here is another pict of when we first set her on the edge of the marsh.
The first thing the ungrateful hussy did was try to bite my leg, when I set her on the ground.
