Nice sundown and sky shots :D Getting just the right balance of light and sky during these times is tough. Here are a couple I managed to grab over the winter here;

Seems like a good day to post natural phenomenon related pictures today.

I got this one last summer, obviously a bit of a suprise considering I was aiming behind the bolt

From the Orionid meteor shower last December. Meteors are tough and my first attempt netted me that tiny one on the left but at least it was right next to Orion :)

And be thankful she did not get you :D I have heard too many stories about what has happened when they do. Those turtles...never thankful for anything are they. I saved one off the road (not a snapping) last year and boy, you would have though I just called his mother a name or something.

Nope, he is much younger then me. He is a French/Cheyenne friend married to an Oglala Sioux woman. They are very interested in Islam and I bring a lot of Islamic literature to hem.

She is also a revert. Quite an amazing woman, I must admit she is much more punctual and dedicated to keeping the 5 prayers and is a good influence on me.

The whole region is beautiful, Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota and Wisconsin. The states look very similar and are very rural with few cities.

I am uploading about 700 more pictures onto the album. But I am on a slow connection and it will take about 12 more hours.
