I'm not able to see what has been said as i have been banned. But if there are threads that Ali Sina has created against Sikhism i didn't see them, but then i wasn't on it long enough. I only saw the posts by those stupid idiots' ali baba' and 'Roshan' - lol i don't know know what i'm saying. He's obviosuly encouraging it.

Ignore the rantings of an old and tired boy lol

*Mutters to self*

Jews can not be Muslims. Jews do not believe in Isa ibn Maryam (Jesus). In order to be a Muslim you have to beleive in the Prophets of Islam.

Yeah! and really believe in Him too, not any absurd rubbish that he faked a crucifiction and went to france and had a wife. I am cross about the fact that an American Christian converted to Islam but was too afraid to go to Mosque and the went back to Christianity because Muslims on the internet were trying to say that Jesus never took his own crucifiction.

The verse is Maryam 019: 015 that proves they wrong.

I learned Sikh way a bit from believers in Jesus; that Sant Mat teaching I told about.

You have to be careful of what they say. Santmat and Radhasoami, are regarded as breakaway groups who distort Sikhi to benefit themselves. - So going by what they teach, will only give you the human version of Sikhism, not the genuine!

Assalamu'alaikum to all,

I would just like to take this opportunity to introduce myself into this discussion.
I have spent a considerable amount of time reading all of the threads posted on this forum.
I am a revert from Sikhism and Alhumdolilha i have found the true path.
i personally know a few reverts from Sikhism and im sure insha Allah there will be more in the future.
I will be back insha Allah

Welcome aboard Hanif.... my best friend is sikh.... I have been wanting to approach her on the subject of reverting as I care for her so very much, she is the most amazing caring soul and so naturally I wish for her to be Muslim.... but I really don't want to be pushy... any advise?

It is very difficult to give Dawah to Sikh's since they are subjected to false impressions of Islam from their teachings. Because a large portion of their history was born out of conflict with the Mogul empire, Sikhs feel a certain anomsity towards Muslims (although i must point out this is not what the faith teaches)
in Sikh temples (Gurdwara's) around the world, you will find pictures of the horrific and brutal struggles the Sikhs had with the mogul's (who did nothing but harm for the image of the faith of Islam) - whatever the justification of these images, wheter it be to remind the Sikh's of their heritage or to make them understand the strengths of their faith, it has bought about a resentment and hatred of Islam, that only education of its peacful aspects cn bring about.

hmmmmmn that is terrible... I know there is a certain animosity but my friend has never acted in a hostile way... I don't think it is because I am her friend... I think she is genuinly kind and I have known her for ages... she does speak of the struggles between sikhs as the "caught in the middle" per se between hindus and Muslims.... but I am not sure that is a pan view of Islam or just in her neck of the woods........ only time can tell I guess... would love to learn how you became a Muslim and then maybe approach her from those grounds.....
peace
wasalaam

I must also state that although there are certain qualities Sikhism has, and that they state that they believe in one god, they do not realise that believeing that all creatures have a portion of god within them is shirk. I.e belief that the creator is part of the creation (aoothu billah). they will give you some sort of answer like 'we cannot comprehend god' or 'why can he not be everywhere and above at the same time?' - Its true that if he wanted to he could - but to those who Allah (SWT) will's to guide, he will make clear that this seems wrong. Remember that all mankind has a belief deep in his heart and knows that there is only one God and only He deserves our worship. Sikh's will tell you that they only worship one god, yet they postrate to a book. If you look through this thread to the beginning a person called ISDhillion said this is done because 'The word is god' - What does that tell you about their belief?

I began by having discussions with friends regarding Islam and its teachings. i learned about the miracles in the Quran and also about the existence of god and His nature. We must understand that Sikhisms concept of the purpose of life is completely different to ours. we believe this life is a test for another yet to come. Sikh's belief that they are here to go through countless incarnations untill their soul is ready to 'merge' or become 'one' with god. i wont go into reincarnation now because i have to go but it is important to realise this fundemental concept before you can speak to a Sikh. if you know this then it will help you to find out if they really believe that they will live and die again and again, until their soul suddenly wakes up and says 'Lets meditate on the nam'
