[Reflections]

I learnt that I'm not the only one who hasn't made a big deal its the Royal Wedding today..and the only good outcome from it is the long weekend holiday

I also learnt that Allah never burdens you more than you can handle.

I learnt that not eating for more than 3 hours causes me headaches

Today I learnt that I'm addicted to watching Oprah and I managed to survive the Royal Wedding and it's hype. It made mr laugh when they said she was a common girl but they forgot to mention her parents are worth millions.

When Al-Mansur Bin 'Ammar, May Allah Have Mercy On Him,


Once Entered The Court Of Abdul-Malik Bin Marwaan, The Latter Said,


"O Mansur, I Have A Question For You,

And I Will Give You Respite For An Entire Year To Answer it:


Who is The Wisest Of People,

And Who is The Most ignorant Of People?"

Al-Mansur Left The Castle And Spent Some Time in Contemplation in A Near

By Courtyard.


Then The Answer Came To Him,


And So He Quickly Hurried Back To Abdul-Malik.

"O Mansur, Why Have You Returned?"

Asked Abdul Malik.

" The Wisest Of The People,

O Leader Of The Believers,

is The Doer Of Good Deeds

Who Fears Not Having His Deeds Accepted,"



Said Al-Mansur."



" And The Most ignorant Of People is He Who Does Good Deeds And Feels Safe in That His Deeds Will Be Accepted."



Upon Hearing These Words,

Abdul-Malik Began To Cry Until His Garment Became Soaked in Tears.



He Then Said, ' You Have Done Well,

O Mansur. Now,

Recite A Part Of The Quran To Me,

For The Quran is A Cure For What is in The Breasts Of Men."

Mansur Then Recited This Verse:


َوْمَ تَجِدُ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَا عَمِلَتْ مِنْ خَيْرٍ مُحْضَرًا وَمَا عَمِلَتْ مِنْ سُوءٍ تَوَدُّ لَوْ أَنَّ بَيْنَهَا وَبَيْنَهُ أَمَدًا بَعِيدًا وَيُحَذِّرُكُمُ اللَّهُ نَفْسَهُ وَاللَّهُ رَءُوفٌ بِالْعِبَادِ

On The Day When Every Person Will Be Confronted With All The Good He Has Done, And All The Evil He Has Done, He Will Wish That There Was A Great Distance Between Him And His Evil. And Allah Warns You Against Himself And Allah is Full Of Kindness To His Slaves.
[Aal-Imraan : 30]


" You Have Killed Me, O Mansur,"

Said Abdul-Malik.

"O Mansur, What Does,

' And Allah Warns You Against Himself' Mean? "

" It Means His Punishment," Said Mansur.

" And What is The Meaning Of,

' Every Person Will Be Confronted With All The Good He Has Done,' ? "

Asked Abdul-Malik ?

" It Means That Every Person Will Be Confronted On The Day Of Resurrection By All Of His Deeds,

The Largest Of Them And The Tiniest Of Them.

Allah Will Not Leave Out Or Forget Any Of That. "

Abdul Malik Then Continued To Cry Until, Being Overcome With Fear, He Fainted.

OMG i love her dress,it was truly amazing :statisfie It does'nt look that beautiful in the movie but if you watch the pictures,you will appriciate every thing about it :statisfie

Of course you are right,dear sister :statisfie As your rep points increase,greenies will increase.You get one greenie after 100 points but after 7oo points,greenie will increase on 200 :statisfie i think im right

Today I learnt that I haven't seen Friends in ages even though I own the box set but still love to watch some episodes from time to time and I always wondered why Chandler was not as funny as Joey towards the end of the series. Also that Emus and kangaroos cannot walk backwards, and are on the Australian coat of arms for that reason. *

1. The two sahaba, Mu'adh and Mu'awwath (Radiyallahu 3nhuma) that killed Abu Jahl in Badr were just 16 years old;

2. Jabir bin Abdullah (Radiyallahu 3nh) was 16 years old when he migrated to Abyssinia;

3. Abdullah bin Umar (radiyallahu 3nh) took part in a battle at the age of 15;

4. Abdullah Yazeed al Ansari (radiyallahu 3nh) took the pledge of Ridwan at 17 years old;

5. Usamah bin Zaid (radiyallahu 3nh) led the muslim army against the Romans when he was 17 years old;
