I learnt that if I don't study for my skills test tomorrow, I'm gonna be in trouble :S

I learnt that all I needed was to be alone in a nice sunny room with nasheeds blasting and time at my disposal to get through the work that I've been putting off for the last few months. Alhamdulillah I dunnit today :D

I also learnt that I enjoy teaching poetry, fiction and non-fiction in that order, and the poetry unit I'm teaching at the moment has been by far the best alhamdulillah cept this only goes for ks2, for ks1 I prefer teaching fiction, poetry and then non-fiction, simply because my Year 1's don't really understand the concept of rhyming yet.

I think I'm going to learn also that nobody really cares what I learnt.

7am, 1pm, 10pm ... <3

I think I'm going to learn also that nobody really cares what I learnt.

We do care sis Flawed, today I learnt that a place in Edgware road does the best ever milkshakes I think I may be addicted and may need to go cold turkey. Also I learnt that the Dutch, on average are the tallest people.

I learnt how to remove a helmet from a trauma victim.

I learn something today :)

NAILS IN THE FENCE

Make sure you
read all the way down t o the last sentence.

There once was a little boy who had a bad temper... His Father gave him a bag of nails and told him that every time he lost his temper, he must hammer a nail into the back of the fence.

The first day
the boy had driven 37 nails into the fence... Over the next Over the next
few weeks, as he learned to control his anger, the number of nails hammered daily
gradually dwindled down. He discovered it was easier to hold his temper than to drive those nails into the fence. Finally the day came when the boy didn't lose his temper at all.

He told his
father about it and the father suggested that the boy now pull out one nail for each day that he was able to hold his
temper.

The days
passed and the young boy was finally able to tell his father that all the nails were gone.

The father
took his son by the hand and led him to the fence. He said, 'You have done well, my son, but look at the holes in the fence. The fence will
never be the same. When you say things in anger, they leave a scar just like this one. You can put a knife in a man and draw it out. But It won't matter how many times you say I'm sorry, the wound will still be there. A verbal wound is as bad as a physical one.

I learnt that having chilli gives me sore lips for days imsad

. A verbal wound is as bad as a physical one.

I'd say it's worse than physical wound. The saying 'Sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me'..don't know who's living that fairytale..nor do I agree with whoever came up with that...maybe as a child you might convince yourself as a rebuke against the name calling by bullies..not I don't think it's something to be taught to children.

I learned it is a mistake to buy something today with money you plan to get tomorrow. (I also learned how much my bank charges for overdraft fees)

I learned this morning that you can wake up with upset stomach if you gorged yourself on extremely spicy food the night before.
