Wikipedia articles about Islam are normally not so pro Islam, so you can be sure that this article is very conservative when talking about Islam contribution to science during the golden age of Islamic states:

Yes.

Allah forgives all our sins even if the sins fill up from earth all the way to the sky (this is in the Qur'an, but I forgot which verse).
Never ever despair of Allah forgiveness and mercy (
QS 39:53, Say, “O My (Allah’s) servants who have transgressed against themselves, Do not despair of the (thought that you have lost the) mercy of Allah because Allah forgives all sins (if you repent, correct yourself and ask forgiveness). He (Allah) is forgiving and merciful.
)
And Allah forgives our sins even shirk (which is the absolute biggest sin of all) is forgiven if we repent before our dying moment.

The key word here is "sincere repentance" or in the Qur'an called "taubatan nasuha"

Dear Truthseeker,

Allah SWT forgives all sins if you repent sincerely:

" Say: "O my Servants who have transgressed against their souls! Despair not of the Mercy of Allah. for Allah forgives all sins: for He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful."

Quran 39/53

Re: In Islam will God forgive Haomosexuals for the sin of Homosexuality if they repen

Yes :) Allah forgives all sins so long as the person;

1) Regrets the sin. 2) Turns back to Allah in repentance. 3) Tries his best never to return back to that sin again

But if he does fall into a sin again, he regrets and repents again.

Here is a site by Muslims who were gay and repented, and still need Islamic support;

I'll tell you, don't ask atheists about religion. :)

And even if someone did say that Zoroastrians worship One God, then why do they worship fire and not the One God?

Muslims believe Adam [the first human on Earth] was a monotheist, and with time - people started to overpraise humans, to the extent that they started to worship them as super-humans, and then gradually into gods. Then they were portrayed as idols who people would pray to.

This is why God would continuously send Human Messengers to guide people back to worshipping the Creator and not the creation. The final Messenger being Muhammad (peace be upon him), whose guidance remains with us in it's pure form till the end of time.

Also, you can read this to understand what the Atheists meant, and an Islamic reply to their claim;

Science in the Quran I know the Quran is not a Science book but the fact that there is a lot of Science and facts of Science not known back than in the Quran my question is have Muslims always known that there were these Scientific Miracles in the Quran or is this a new claim ?

Re: Science in the Quran I know the Quran is not a Science book but the fact that the

Muslims did not know the full extent of the scientific facts because they didn't have the scientific tools to verify them. :)

Let me give you an example. Allah tells us that He created the human from a Nutfah.

The word Nutfah means 'the smallest part of a total collection'. So for example; the sperm semen which the male ejaculates out of his body is alot of liquid.

Scholars in the past would say that the
smallest part of alot of liquid = a drop of semen liquid. So they would say that man is created from a drop of semen.

However,
with scientific technology, we found out that there are Sperms in the semen liquid. Millions of sperms are in only one tea spoon of semen.

The smallest part of millions of sperms = 1 sperm.

We now know through science that the Qur'an is even more accurate in meaning, and does not contradict Science. Because
in the past, Aristotle and other thinkers/scientists would say that MOST of the semen clots the female blood (which she usually has in her periods/menstruation), and from that - a baby is born.

However, God/Allah told us that - it is the SMALLEST amount of Semen = 1 Sperm that is required to form a Human!

See here for more Quran Miracle examples;

Re: Does the Quran or the Hadith say that the Jews or the Children of Israel rejected

[3:45-51] The angels said, "O Mary, GOD gives you good news: a Word from Him whose name is `The Messiah, Jesus the son of Mary. He will be prominent in this life and in the Hereafter, and one of those closest to Me.' "He will speak to the people from the crib, as well as an adult; he will be one of the righteous." She said, "My Lord, how can I have a son, when no man has touched me?" He said, "GOD thus creates whatever He wills. To have anything done, He simply says to it, `Be,' and it is. "He will teach him the scripture, wisdom, the Torah, and the Gospel."
As a messenger to the Children of Israel: "I come to you with a sign from your Lord - I create for you from clay the shape of a bird, then I blow into it, and it becomes a live bird by GOD's leave. I restore vision to the blind, heal the leprous, and I revive the dead by GOD's leave. I can tell you what you eat, and what you store in your homes. This should be a proof for you, if you are believers.
"I confirm previous scripture - the Torah - and I revoke certain prohibitions imposed upon you. I come to you with sufficient proof from your Lord. Therefore, you shall observe GOD, and obey me.
"GOD is my Lord and your Lord; you shall worship Him alone. This is the right path."

[4:171-172] O people of the scripture, do not transgress the limits of your religion, and do not say about GOD except the truth. The Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, was a messenger of GOD, and His word that He had sent to Mary,
and a revelation from Him. Therefore, you shall believe in GOD and His messengers.
You shall not say, "Trinity." You shall refrain from this for your own good.
GOD is only one god. Be He glorified; He is much too glorious to have a son.
To Him belongs everything in the heavens and everything on earth. GOD suffices as Lord and Master.
The Messiah would never disdain from being a servant of GOD, nor would the
closest angels. Those who disdain from worshiping Him, and are too arrogant to submit, He will summon them all before Him.
[5:75] The Messiah, son of Mary, is no more than a messenger like the
messengers before him, and his mother was a saint. Both of them used to eat the food. Note how we explain the revelations for them, and note how they still deviate!

[5:17] Pagans indeed are those who say that GOD is the Messiah, the son of Mary. Say, "Who could oppose GOD if He willed to annihilate the Messiah, son of Mary, and his mother, and everyone on earth?" To GOD belongs the sovereignty of the heavens and the earth, and everything between them.
He creates whatever He wills. GOD is Omnipotent.
[5:72] Pagans indeed are those who say that GOD is the Messiah, son of Mary.
The Messiah himself said, "O Children of Israel, you shall worship GOD;
my Lord and your Lord." Anyone who sets up any idol beside GOD, GOD has forbidden Paradise for him, and his destiny is Hell. The wicked have no helpers.
[9:31] Others deified the Messiah, son of Mary. They were all commanded to worship only one god. There is no god except He. Be He glorified, high above having any partners.

4:157-159] And for claiming that they killed the Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary,
the messenger of GOD. In fact, they never killed him, they never crucified him -
they were made to think that they did. All factions who are disputing in this matter are full of doubt concerning this issue. They possess no knowledge; they only conjecture. For certain, they never killed him. Instead, GOD raised him to Him; GOD is Almighty, Most Wise. Everyone among the people of the scripture was required to believe in him before his death. On the Day of Resurrection,
he will be a witness against them.

[3:55] Thus, GOD said, "O Jesus, I am terminating your life, raising you to Me,
and ridding you of the disbelievers. I will exalt those who follow you above those who disbelieve, till the Day of Resurrection. Then to Me is the ultimate destiny of all of you, then I will judge among you regarding your disputes.
[5:117] "I told them only what You commanded me to say, that: `You shall worship GOD, my Lord and your Lord.' I was a witness among them for as long as I lived with them. When You terminated my life on earth, You became the Watcher over them. You witness all things.

Allah - there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of [all] existence. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is [presently] before them and what will be after them, and they encompass not a thing of His knowledge except for what He wills. His Kursi extends over the heavens and the earth, and their preservation tires Him not. And He is the Most High, the Most Great. (QS. Al Baqarah: 255)

Re: Does the Quran or the Hadith say that the Jews or the Children of Israel rejected

Does the Quran or the Hadith say that the Jews or the Children of Israel rejected Jesus the Son of Mary as a Prophet Messenger and rejected Jesus as the Messiah and tried to kill Jesus ?

It's more of a well known historical fact that Jesus was rejected by alot of the Jews. But he also had followers from the Jews in his lifetime :)

The Quran comments most
: on the warnings he gave to his people, and on who Jesus really is.

Re: Does the Quran or the Hadith say that the Jews or the Children of Israel rejected

Truthseeker, can I just make a very quick and off topic suggestion? I've noticed that your threads have pretty much filled this section of the forum, so maybe you can ask a mod to combine them and then ask all your questions in one thread. I feel like we can be more organized that way, and we also won't drown the rest of the threads. :p
