Mashallah, all the recitors that everyone are talking about very, very good by the grace of Allah.

I have been listening to Sa'ad Al Ghamdhi a lot because he simply is outstanding, but i wanted to draw attention to a Qari's recital that i came accross by accident

I visited a website and they had this Qari reciting Surah An Noor and the first time i heard it i was hooked.

I searched for his name and discovered that he was called Ziyaad Patel.
A brother on this message board gave me links to a Nasheed recited by him and since then i have found a few surah's recited by him.

If anyone has not heard the recitals by Ziyaad patel i urge you to listen to one of his recitals, simply outstanding.

If anyone wants some of his recitals, please let me know and i will try and get that to you. I have a very limited collection of his, i am searching for the full Quran recital from him but have had no luck.

Yh Masha'ALLAH (SWT) he has beautiful recitation.....

...he has given adhaan in Masjid-ul-Aqsa masha'ALLAH (SWT)...

...I dont think he has made recording of whole qur'an recitatio, wallahu a'lam...

I have Many different favorite reciters, but one of my absolute favorites I don't see here... Possible because my contacts are off and I just can't see very well-- it is sheikh Sala7 Ar'rashid -- his voice... Oh G-D what a voice, never the same.. sometimes grave, sometimes tender, I don't know how he does.. but jazah Allah khyran... I have memorized suret yousef insha'Allah because of him... here are my favorite surahs by him... perhaps someone should add him to the poll if he isn't already on there?

those are my favorite suras by him-- some other time I'll post my favorite other reciters but, he is certainly worthy of mention-- he made the Quran my companion on many a long and lonely drives home-- a refined and exquisite companion.
