Yummm!! I think I grew up on tomato soup and grilled cheese. Love dunking the sandwich in the soup. Still do. How about you?
Last night I was meeting some old friends and dining out with them at a restaurant which specializes in cooking oxtail. In fact, their oxtail soup is the most famous one in Jakarta. Here's what I had: slow cooked oxtail soup and white steamed rice with belinjo crackers. The meat of the oxtail is so tender it practically melts in your mouth while still retaining some texture. The unique aroma of cloves and nutmegs is what make it really special.
oxtail is halal ?? I was thinking of trying this, but wasnt sure. Looks lovely! I can see a lot of presentation has gone into dishing up!
