"Claro?" is just a way of asking if I was right. It can mean any of the things you all suggested: clear, true, right, correct or even yes. Of course, as it turns out I wasn't right. So, the answer is "No." whether you are writing in English or Spanish.

Last night I was meeting some old friends and dining out with them at a restaurant which specializes in cooking oxtail. In fact, their oxtail soup is the most famous one in Jakarta. Here's what I had: slow cooked oxtail soup and white steamed rice with belinjo crackers. The meat of the oxtail is so tender it practically melts in your mouth while still retaining some texture. The unique aroma of cloves and nutmegs is what make it really special.

well, at least in Indonesia "oxtail" is normally tail of cow, not of ox. Anyway, all cows in Indonesia when slaughtered are done in halal way, so that would make oxtail halal.
