Indian is not an ethnic group. There is some mistake in the poll, the option 'Indian' should be divided into Indo-Aryan and Dravidian.
Really?? Then I have no idea what my ethnicity is. :hiding:... Well, I'm from Tamil Nadu, and my location is somewhere near Puducherry(former French colony). Does that have anything to do with it?

Well, ethnically most people from south India are Dravidian...
I see a difference between Tamil and Indo-Aryan Indians who live in Indonesia. Tamil have become Indonesian, they speak Indonesian among them, but Indo-Aryan are "International Desi", they always use English when talking among them, and they have families in other countries.

I'm a caucasian (European) living in Holland the land of tullips, windmills and so on lol.

Malay can be refer to ethnic and also to sub-race of Mongoloid.

As ethnic, Malay are native people of Malaysia, Brunei, Singaporean native people, and native people in eastern Sumatra and and coastal area of west and south Borneo in Indonesia.

As sub-race, Malay are also including people from west and central area of Indonesia, and Philippine.

So, if we talk about ethnic, I am a Javanese, but in race, I am a Malayan Mongoloid.

Asalam Alaikkum to All,

I think I am the only one born in Philippines here :)

Brother Ardianto, that's a hard post lol
Now I question my ethnicity & race... huh

Salam Ukoi,

No one in my family looks Indian, we are 7siblings: 4 pointed nose and 3 of flat nose including me.

With circumstances I think I am Malay since when we visited Malaysia everyone tries to speak to me in local language lol. Yea I think so

Whenever I hear philipinos speak tagalog to each other, I could pick up words here and there.
Tagalog and Javanese belong to the same family
