What would you do if you woke up one morning and saw IslamicBoard completely changed?

Are we talking Gordon Ramsey style makeover?

Tbh; I don't really care much. Change it, don't change it. Won't make a difference to me.
 
From what I understand the problems in the past 2 days are not related to any person's doing but were the result of a problem at the data base.
 
I don't think anything should be missing in terms of data...

But I'd like to make one thing VERY clear.

It wasn't me, nor was this apart of the "drastic change".

Alhamdulillah I'm just glad that Li is bak up and running. Imissed it so much it even featured on my FB status and us girlies had a little chat there instead :) WE NEED THE SISTERS SECTION.

Frankly, the first thing came to my mind that it was a part of the change and it was you brother, but alhumdulilah it was just something else :)

I am very happy that we didn't lose anything from the database, that's really a big relief in itself!

Anyway, about the drastic change... I'm still considering it.

And this is what still worrying me actually! If you just tell us what's that change is all about before you apply it, it will be much better than using the "sudden attack" tactic <_<

I did want to surprise you all, but here's the idea:

Go to MuslimYouthGroups.org. Do you see how there is a page leading to the site and the forum? I wanted to do that. So basically, there'll be an intro page, forum, and a main website.

nice idea.. actually. we can have something like help pages , community pages etc there. (may be competition results and details too ).

Alhamdulillah that's good.

But I guess the posts that had the wrong time and date stamp will stay like that? Like I made a post a few hours before the fire and it's showing up as being posted 4 weeks ago.

However that's just a minor thing.

The fact that nothing was lost is something to be grateful in itself, alhamdulillah!

Hmm... Good point out. I don't think that issue is worth being fixed, to be honest. But Jazakumullahu Khair. This forum has quite a few bugs, I need to get someone to take a look at it.
