Well, I've analyzed both sides of the argument and read through the posts.
In my opinion, IB should go through two stages before implementing drastic changes:
1) Notify exactly what the changes will be (when you're close to setting them up)
2) Set up a beta stage (This helps with people getting used to the site, giving feedback, and sorting out bugs).
Also, I would recommend keep an option to switch back to IB's old look (if there's a template change/something to do with graphics).
On the other hand, I really dislike how many members are so close minded regarding changes. Seriously, Islam was a change for many different people, yet they still converted/reverted. Especially when Islam was just starting out, it was a drastic change compared to the types of religions, or lack of that people used to follow.
My point is, that it is part of Islam to keep an open mind, and have a positive outlook on things. Don't you wish that those prejudice people who hate Islam had an open mind and heart so they could see the true beauty of our religion?
Inshallah you will understand where I'm coming from, and realize that brother Rashad isn't making changes just because he can. These changes take a lot of effort and are quite time consuming. Most importantly, he (and the team working on IB) are making these changes so all of us can have a better experience on the forum.
Jazakallah,
Humza
