only thing mine did not play was realmedia
I'm not sure whats wrong with snakelegs' but mine wouldn't play audio to mp4 files![]()
first and foremost; why? oh why sister?i'm pretty sure i know the answer to this, but just in case.....(i can dream)
is it possible to get rid of windows media player 11 and go back to 10, when you have vista? like uninstall it and download version 10?
all mp3 are not encoded by same encoders that means you will let it download a few different decodersMy one sometimes doesn't even play MP3 files...And not just any MP3 files, my entire collection of SS(HA)'s Recitations! THE ENTIRE QURAN BY SS!!![]()
first and foremost; why? oh why sister?
it could not find any codecs...How Microsoft of them![]()
because it doesn't play a lot of the files that version 10 does!:raging:
you can keep it as I am in no serious need of itI take that back
how do we know it is your mp3 file is brokenI applied all codecs, and it still didnt work
it uninstalls realmedia and divx from different folders only to re-install them all in its own folder. then afterwards you may install the standalone version again (you can just say no to those 2 and carry on to the end)yes, it wanted to uninstall real player and it wanted to uninstall DivX and i didn't get any further cuz i worried that i might end up with bigger problems.
i understand why it wants to do this stuff, but i am afraid to let it.
vista is a big enough headache as it is!
what i really want to do is uninstall windows media player 11 and download version 10. but i am guessing that vista wouldn't stand for it - is that right?
don't want it to explode or something!
