I daresay you are a lass of high intellect than thy..Indeed i do agree my fellow being of the horrible fading shadow of a world...I urge all the fellow uncles, aunties, mothers, fathers, daughters, sons, cousins etc to adopt this manner of interacting..It is highly respectful and please refrain from that yobbish dialect...Very disturbing I do declare...

can't understand a lot of threads

Assalamu aleiykum

Ok don't flame me here but I honestly can't read a LOT of the threads on this board. I am not sure what the deal is here. Is it that people write phonetically because they speak a different language than English or is this a new type of slang that I can anticipate my kids doing?:?

Yeah its rather annoying... but like the saying goes... the world keeps turning...

you either turn with it.. or get left behind.

It is easy to read properly constructed sentences... but,I guess when you're answering questions... you can't be bothered trying to correct their slang. At the same time.. it would help to be able to UNDERSTAND the questions in the first place.

Kids these days lol... its not "cool" to talk all slang lol

I have the same problem as you Sis doodlebug and I could be classified as a "kid" still :lol:

However I dont let it get to me, I just skip over those posts......It's not cool, just very irritating.

This has actually caused me many problems in replying to certain posts because, quite frankly, I can't read what they are trying to say.
