There are threads and forums here in which text and slang can be used. Some of the Humerous Halal Fun threads for example. However, if the purpose of a thread is to convey an Idea or a Belief, text and slang are very inappropriate. Also, in any religious thread some of us (myself for one) do view the use of text or slang as being disrespectfull or blasphemous.

what annoyes me just as much as the txt speak is wen ppl put numbers in their words because they believe it looks like an arabic letter of the alphabet, so they use 7 i thnk for the letter ain n stuff like that and they actually write like this, thats one thing that well annoys me, instead of writing in numbers get an arabic keyboard for god sakes!

Seriously sis. I don't read most of the text speak posts because it hurts my eyes trying to decipher them, lol. Not trying to be funny.

well i think most people whom talk like slang && that are just having abit of fun but maybe there used to it as in texting on cell so yeah it makes it easier, but i prefer it like this because i find it hard to type like slang, i can remember i came newly first && i used to write soo much slang unbelieveable && people used to say translate or say me english is bad but walahi i find it hard well it takes me ages writting in slang humm well then again they shouldn't be banned for little things i mean well just cause they type slang humm well then again mods are mods so i have respect for them isnhalalh :)
