Sheikh begn by praising Allah and mentioned
peace and salutation be on Nabi s.a.w. on his family, companions and those who follow him.
the speech of Allah is the best of speech and the best way is the way of Nabi s.a.w. abstain from innovations as it leads astray and leads people to the fire of jahunum.
Allah has conferred a great bounty on this ummah by sending an nabi ul ummi.
Nabi s.a.w. being ummi did not prevent him from his mission.
Allah in the first revelation revealed read! read in the name of your creator, who created human from a clot, read and your sustainer is most honurable.
the mission of nabi s.a.w. started with reading and writing.
this is also what nabi s.a.w. encouraged.
as in surah qalam Allah takes a oath upon the pen which highlights the significance of the pen.
nabi s.a.w said the 1st thing which Allah created was the pen as mentioned in abu dawud and tirmithi.
what is in the heart and mind is conveyed by writing it down.
it is with the pen we link the salaf and khalaf(predecessors and sucessors) .
Saeed ibn al aas said that with out pen we should not know the write from left.
there are people who are proudo f their ammunition and swords but we know our historians and scholars wrote volumes and explained islam in its putrity with the pen.
the pen is a necassity and should be used to propagate the truth.
there are 2 types, the poisinous pen which is usedf by the proud and arrogant, then the pen that is used by those who write fearing accountibilaty.
Allah says the pure and the impure can never be equal although the abundance of impurity impresses.
a person of intelligence understands the harm caused by the pen.
nabi s.a.w. mentioned a time when when women will help men in business, lies will become the order of the day, deception wil b considered intelligence, family ties wil be servered and the poisinous pen makes its appearence.
we should keep in mind that hisab will take place.

today the ummah requires a pen that is truthful and effective.
the pen sholuld be used to revive the sunnah.
we shoul be careful about what we read and not just swallow everything.
o journalist and mankind islamic etiquette dictates justice even with our enemys.
not like in todays times where so much truth is concealed.
O mankind use the pen consructively.
