We were watching jumuah khutbah from Makkah when my nephew says to his father...
"Abu! He's cheating, he's looking in the paper!"
This summer I was going to pray duhr, and then take my 4 year old cousin to the park. He was waiting for me, so I asked him "how about you pray with me, and then we go to the park?". He said okay, so I took him to the bathroom and showed him how to make wudu, helped him with it.
Then after we finished, before I started praying, I told him to do everything that I did. Everytime I said "allahu akbar" he said it, he made ruku, sujood, and all, it was adorable mashallah.
At the end when we finished, he's like "J, you did a fine job!" with this wide smile on his face, lol.
When we got back from the park it was asr time, I asked him if he wanted to pray with me again, he's like "No, that's enough for today!".![]()

Boy 1 *younger one*: Nur shaitan is really really bad right?
Nur: yeh, this baad! and he shows his hands that are spread faar apart
Boy 1: can we touch him?
Nur: No!oh:
Boy 1: what would you do if you could?
Nur: *thinks for a bit* i would kick him and beat him and hurt him until he says sorry!
Boy 1:oh: why!?
Nur: shh don't tell anyone, "he made me forget to pray isha yesterday and i had to pray when i got up"
Boy 1: oh! thats a good reason *and he smiles content* but don't let him make you forget it again ok?
Nur: ok!
i love when kids try to pray, my lil nephew once saw me praying and he hurried to get the prayer mat but he coudnt find it so he got the welcome mat from the front door and started using that ;D he was two and when he tried to make sujuud he couldn't do it perfect so he just layed down flat on his bellyand through out the salah he was saying bishma bishma lol for bismillah
