Yh that's true. I dont know what the point of making a video is. It just diverts the audience from the actual purpose, to remember Allah(SWT), to the singer himself.

its crazy, i dont watch Islam channel much i happened to watch taraweeh prayers, and then later this guy comes on...and then this other guy "mesut kurtis" ---, he totally ruined a really nice durood by bi'dahfying it...with instruments and this totally stupid video...do they wanna make it big...to "top of the pops" or something.

Quran and audio lectures are far more better.

guess what nazeel was in our house oday and when he was having the eidy stuff his video came up on Islam channel and he was shocked and siad

ye i do, infact i walked into a islamic store in briklane and i the lyrics were playin n i was thinkin mashaAllah, too bad his committin sin via that music, his just another sami yusuf wannabe in my eyes :rollseyes

coz not as many people like listenin to quran as nasheed i gess, even tho every friend i hav prefers qiraat ova nasheed inclufin me :rollseyes

only today my niece and nephew were watching nasheeds on the global unity DVD, and this guy called Dhawud warnsby did a nasheed called "dont tell me about Muhammad" has anyone heard it???
i got so angry when i heard it ..these people should not be allowed to produce this stuff!!!! songs stick in people's heads....that nasheed should be banned actually anything he makes should be banned they are terrible!!
