دُرِّيٌّ glittering

مِنْ from
شَجَرَةٍ a tree
مُبَارَكَةٍ blessed
زَيْتُونَةٍ olive

غَرْبِيَّةٍ western

زَيْتُهَا its oil
يُضِيءُ glowing (giving off its own light)

نَارٌ fire (it isn't of fire)
نُورٌ light

يَهْدِي He (Allah) guides

لِنُورِهِ towards His light
مَنْ whomsoever

الْأَمْثَالَ the examples
لِلنَّاسِ for (to) Mankind

I've quite literally translated every individual word of the verse; so it should be easier Insha-Allah to translate; in the meantime, the experts can concentrate on translating the Hadith I provided earlier . . . :thumbs_up

Mashallah I enjoy learning arabic because it's a very beautiftul language and it's not as dry as english. Although the pronounciation is a bit different, it's always nice to learn another langauge, especailly when it's the language of Allah.(swt)
