Fiery Friday Sermon!!!

I've went for friday prayer today, the Khatib gave a very fiery sermon (which is 'anti-semitic' Level 5 - if there is a higher level tell me).

He kept saying 'Yahudi La'natullahi Alayhim' (Jews, God's curse upon them) and everybody was :uuh: :uuh: :uuh: (at least nobody sleeping).

The most surprising thing happened, that in his "doa" (prayer) he said "May Allah help the Hezballah" "May Allah help the Hezballah" "May the angels who helped in Badr, help the Hezballah". And the congregation said "Amen" "Amen" very loudly..... for the first time I've seen Sunnis supporting Shiites in Malaysia.... it was :uuh: (an eye opener for me).

Khatib said that the donations will be donate to Palestinian and Lebanese, after the prayer lots of people donated .... and mostly hand in 'BIG NOTES'.... I've never seen this kind of donations (because Malaysian Muslims usually donate coins and the highest is like RM1.00..... but today they gace RM10.00, RM 50.00....)

It's really an eye opener....

i dont know the exact verse and to be honest im not sure if they are cursed in the Quran but i wouldnt be surprised if they are. hold on i'll check

Taken out of context. The Quran does not refer to Jews in general.

The Jews call 'Uzair a son of Allah, and the Christians call Christ the son of Allah. That is a saying from their mouth; (in this) they but imitate what the unbelievers of old used to say. Allah's curse be on them: how they are deluded away from the Truth!

Well its pretty clear that the jews are cursed for taking partners besides Allah, this is ofcourse known as shirk, and all polytheists are doomed to hell unless they repent...

if you want better understanding you can go upto a muslim scholar from ahlal sunnah wal jama3aa and ask him about its context as we have little knowledge of that .


But i think that verse is quite clear, anyone who takes partners besides Allah is cursed, its not really suprising how would you like it if someone gave credit to someone else for something you done alone?

We are going off topic but sister daffodil is referring to the ziadi shi’a whose beliefs are closer to the Sunnah than many Sunni Muslims!

For example many of them I have spoken to use the mainstream sunni books of haddith and do not go into impermissible tawussul, i.e making du’a to or through the dead.

Some even deny they are shi’a, saying they are sunni and just happen to think Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) would have made a better first khalif.

Now if you look at some of the people who are most ferocious in verbally attacking the shi’a, those who claim the title Ahlus Sunnah but do not act upon it, often when you examine their beliefs then they are very close to the worse of the shi’a, the Rafadiyyah who commit open kufr.

Except that no Jews in the world today or any Jews in the historical record have ever said that Ezra was the Son of God. I believe that Ansar al-Adl says there were a group of Jews back then that did, but wouldn't that mean the curse is for Jews who think that Ezra is the Son of God (i.e. none of them alive today whether Zionists or not)?

And the fact that the Quran says the Jews have said Ezra is the son of G-d is very funny.

Your not Jewish if you believe that G-d has a son because that is declaring you to be a Pagan which is renouncing Judaism. Same thing if you decide there is no G-d. Your renouncing Jewish faith in that act.
