Fiery Friday Sermon!!!

Taken out of context. The Quran does not refer to Jews in general.

Ye - it refers to them in general and the exception is just a few who aren't cursed because they are actually sincere, and those almost all became muslim.

The Quran says the would act arrogantly in the land twice, yet make them as if they don't deserve to be fought right now and we should accept their oppression,

Have a reality check to who really follows Quran, there were monafiqeen sucking up to the enemy during Rasool (pbuh) time, and then their were the believers who were firm against the disbelievers and firm on the battlefield even when there numbers were few against many.

ahsant, ameen, except I pray the curse be upon zionist and their supporters, not all jews, and I know Zionist is what the Imam meant, many jews are against Israel.

ws
How do you know? Are you an aquaintance of his?

Well it's what muslims mean when they say bad thing about jews these days, it's a common thing muslims understand, it is refering to zionist, not all jews.

The whole umma will unite inshallah. May God bless this Imam.

If u think it's ok... you can translate it and post it here... but not me. Sorry.

It is unlikely you will find many here that get angered by this hatred being preached from the pulpit. Many say they dont hate the jews but when this stuff is said they are silent. Try saying "hamas and hezbollah are terrorist organizations and should be wiped of the map. God curse them."

That is likely to get a little more response.
Probably not. You see, Muslims are not to interrupt when the Imam gives his Friday sermon.

After the prayer, on the other hand, people can and do discuss things with the Imam.

Don't jump to conclusions, and don't assume that silence is support.

Jews are Allah's creations, and even the Quran states that Jews have a covenant with Allah (Baqara).

If you want to be a real Muslim, start treating Jews like humans and dont judge by their religion. Follow the actions and words of the Prophet towards Jews.
Agreed.

No one is saying we have to give up being Muslim. All we have to do is show common courtesy to people in general, Jews included. Anti-Semitism isn't prescribed by Islam.

Ameen!!!!!

much of that Dua is from what Muhammed :arabic5: said in situations so we must not worry what people would think.

this dua is asking for Allah to smite the necks and backs of the enemy, divide them, shake the earth, ie give them earthquakes. and to defeat them and assist the muslims against them.

Cursing the Jews and promoting Anti-Semitism in a mosque... how suprising...

And the fact that the Quran says the Jews have said Ezra is the son of G-d is very funny.

Your not Jewish if you believe that G-d has a son because that is declaring you to be a Pagan which is renouncing Judaism. Same thing if you decide there is no G-d. Your renouncing Jewish faith in that act.

i think you need to check your Torah again..many different Prophets are called Sons of God.

ofcourse thats borrowed from Paganism

I wasn't refering to people at the mosque, I was refering to people on this forum. Many can be quite touchy about insignificant issues, and almost always angrily dispute negative comments made about hamas, hezbollah and nearly anything that is commonly a muslim freindly group, topic, etc. Make the same type of comments about jews, or alot of other nonmuslim people, and the forum is silent.
Imagine it this way. Let us say that the Imam was a christian preacher, and he gave a fiery sermon about muslims. Suppose he said in this sermon, "muslims, God's curse upon them", and "May God help the jews". Would people still say "ameen to his dua"?
People can deny it all they want, the fact remains, that if bigotry was not so common on this forum(and in the rest of the world) then the same angry responses would be common for all negative comments about groups of people, not just muslims.
The funny thing about denial is, no matter how strongly it is denied, it doesn't change the fact that it is true.

What if this was about a Temple and a Rabbi saying "Muslims, Gods curse upon them!"

People would be yelling about this...

But its an Immam so everyone doesn't really care about the bigotry.
