My fav imam of madinah is reciting soooo beautifully,very diff tune, rarely does it!! masha'Allah!! i love sheikh husayn.

i hope Sudais gets to read Ar-Rahaman...fav Surah of all time

the Masjid im going to during the week is in surah Hashr i believe but the one i usually go to on the weekends is on the same Surahs as Mekka...thats means ill get to hear Surah Ar-Rahaman read by numerous reciters InshALLAH...sorry im too excited

Thats very unlikely. Sudais or Shuraim will not be leading taraweeh for the last part of ramadhan.

Sudais may lead the last taraweeh, so that he gets to do the du'a. :)
 
am really missing sheikhs recitation live @ fajr prayers!!! Sheikh Mahir has also not lead any other prayer besides taraweeh for quite some time.....and am soooo sad that ramadan is nearly over and no live dua from our hounarable Sheikh Shuraim...

Shuraim was reciting beautifully yesterday. I didn't catch all of it though. :(

Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Fahim Hussein. I'm a university student from Toronto Canada. I'm a long time member on many sites like Ummah.com. Just came across this site recently. Very nice. Masha'Allah

I've been enjoying this years Taraweeh broadcasts very much. Especially the variety of Imam's. My only question is how come the video quality is not that good? Does anyone know if they ever have high quality purchasable videos of the Mecca/Medinah taraweeh's?

The only year which the quality was video fairly good was in 2005 I believe when Imam Shuraim and Sudais led the taraweeh.

Does anyone know what night will the imams be reciting from Suratul Haqqah and if shaykh Sudais will be the one to recite it as I know this is one surah that he sometimes has to pause for a few seconds before continuing due to his emotions.

Since Imam Sudais/Shuraim leading Tahajjud now, it will be one of the other 4 imams. If they keep their current rotations it should probably be either Imam Mahir or Kalbani.

Imam Kalbani gets very emotional during Surah Al-Haaqa as well.
