Firstly welcome to the forums, and to the IOH Thread. :shade:

anyone know if they ever have high quality purchasable videos of the Mecca/Medinah taraweeh's?

When I was in Makkah a few years ago, I bought a DVD set for the 1426 Taraweehs [Makkah & Madinah], which are great and in high quality too. You'll have to wait a few months but it should be available again, Insha'Allah.

Also, HaramainRecordings and Islam-fr are great sites, for recordings.

Those from Soennah weren't recorded from internet, but was from Hunayn Productions, so naturally the quality will be really high. We could make the video quality 500 kbps and high quality, but it would be a huge file which would take forever to convert to wmv and upload. Kinda difficult...

I duno if they will be available in videos/DVD. When I went for Hajj, I remember seeing the 2005 videos being sold, and I'm sure they have it every year, but am not 100%.

Thanks for the info. Hopefully I will be able to purchase them online through an Islamic website of some kind. Hopefully they may carry such dvd's in their inventory.

Shaykh Abdul Muhsin al Qaasim leading in Madinah, just prayed Surah Fatihah in one breath, Masha'Allah, reading from Surah Nisa.

Imam Shuraim and Sudais recited really well. Great dua.

Not sure what was going on with Imam Kalbani's recitation tonight. He usually has a really nice rhythm when he reads but today it sounded different.

May Allah preserve and give good health to all these wonderful Imam's.
 
Although I miss Sheikh Thobaity a lot this Ramadhan, I have been really enjoying Imam Ale Sheikhs recitation. He reads in a very simple and elegant manner. Masha'Allah
