Takabal Allahu minna wa minkum ya ikhwaani al affadhil wa akhawaati al faadhilaat, Wa Barak Allahu feekum.
May Allah reward you all and accept from you your good deeds , n make us all of those who were forgiven this ramadan n who fasted it and prayed at night with emaan n seeking Allah's reward and from those who stood the night of qadr with emaan n ehtisaab, and were forgiven by Allah subhanahu wa taala , who is the most forgiving the most merciful. And may Allah make us from the ones whom Allah has freed from the Hell fire, ameen.
Brothers n sisters may Allah bless you all , for all your posts and coments n links , This Imams of Haramain thread is really one of the reasosn i signed up for this forum and this is one of the very few threads that i check and contribute to and you all are dear to me for the sake of Allah and may Allah bless you.
Thats is why i wanted to give some advise to my self first of all and then to all of you may Allah bless u.
Yes ramadan has ended , as a month , and as a time n zaman , but it dosent really end unless u end it your self.
Its really up to us to live the rest of the year Untill next ramadan , In the state of ramadan , it really is up to us to be muslims that stay in the state of ramadan through out the year.
Ramadan has not ended for those
who will still fear Allah in their privacy and in open.
it has not ended for those who will still guard their eyes n gaze, those who will not look at what Allah has forbade , not in privacy and not in public.
Ramadan is not over for those who will guard their tongues , from evil vain sinful speech , from back biting n slander n lies , those who will guard their tongues from all that has been made haram upon us
Ramadan has not ended for those who will guard their ears from what is forbidden , from the music , n movies n other fawahish that can fall on the ear and affect our hearts and our akhirah in the long run.
Ramadan has not ended upon those who will compete and race eachother in doing ALL sort of good , and hastening for goodness n khair , Wallahi there is soo much khair out there for us to earn. From seeking beneficial knowledge , and ibaadat of all sorts , n good and khair of all sort, and being good to our parents , and elders and teachers n siblings n kids n spouses n neighbours n whom ever have righst upon us.
Ramadan has not ended for those who will continue to stay stead fast on the sins that they left in ramadan , Those who stopped talking to their muharam male or female friends, their boy friends n girlfriends , those who refrained from chatting and flirting and other haram thinsg that can happen between the opposite genders, those who stopped it in ramadan and continue to stay away from it and end it for the sake of Allah n seeking his reward , for them ramadan is not over, for them is forgivenss from their lord and great bounty and rewards InshahAllah. For those who quit smoking in ramadan , or other sins and stay stead fast upon it , its still ramadan for them.
Ramadan is not over for those , who will stil pray the qiyyam al layl , the beautiful night prayer that is the weapon of the believer , who ever can continue his 11 rakats or what ever is convienet for them , for them its still ramadan and they can still enjoy and seek its pleasures. the pleasure of qiyyam and tahajud.
Ramadan is not over for those who will still cry in the last thirds of the night, asking their Lord from His mercy and forgiveness , n jannah and seeking refuge from the hell fire , crying out of fear of their lord , and out of love to Him subhanahu wa taala , thinking about Him , remmebering Him , remmebrring his Love for us , his mercy , His blessings that we can never count, His greatness, His Most beautiful names and most complete attributes.
Remmebering death and what comes after it from the grave to the day of ressurection and hissab and sirrat n all that we have to go through without a doubt, we shall all stand in front of our Lord and be taken to account for what we did.
so ramadan is not over for those who repent to their lord and renew their repentance daily , coz we all sin all day everyday , but we have a Lord that forgivs all sins and accepts the tawbah and even with his mercy and Fadhl , converts our sins to good deeds , Allahu akbar, He is teh one that extends His hand in the night so the sinner of day will repent and extends His hand in the dayso the sinner of the night will repent, He loves his slaves and cares for them more that anyone and anyhthing and notthing pleases him more than those who repent and get back to him n run onto him not away from him. ramadan is not over for the tawabeen , al awaabeen , al munebeen al awaheen.
Ramadan is not over for those who will make Quran their constant companion, NOt just reading for the sake of finishing it and completing it , rather reading it carefully taking our time with it , thinking and pondering over its meanings and benefits , seeking fawaaid from it, improving our emaan and our conditions with it , reading the translations n tafseer to understand the words n kalaam of our Lord the King and Owner of heavens and earth and what ever is in them and between them and what ever is apart from it that we know and that we dont know.
Ramadan is not over for those who will remain stead fast after it, who will fast when they can and teh sunnah fasts like mnday n thursday, they will not pray taraweeh but they will still have a part in their nights for qiyam, they will still call upn their lord n ask of him the good of this life n the next, and His good pleasure n jannah. Those who will refrain from what He prohibited and act upon what He comanded and ordered and prsecribed. Those who will remain upon what they were upon in ramadan , from all the good deeds and from leaving all the munkaraat and bad deeds , and try to Improve one day at a time , improve their Haal n conditon ona daily basis , going from good to better , not the other way around and start slacking and lose out day by day what they achieved in ramadan. we should work to improve on what we did in ramadan on a daily basis , slowly but surely and not the other way around.
And i can go on and on, but i hope u get the idea respected n dear brothers n sisters .
WE HAVE ENOUGH "RAMADAN MUSLIMS" what we need is "MUSLIMS THAT REMAIN IN RAMADAN THROUGHH OUT THE YEAR"
Its up to us really to remain in ramadan , its up to us to end ramadan or to continue in ramadan through out the year.
You can choose to end it with eid , you could choose to end it with in a few months time when u slowly but surely start slacking and being careless. or you could choose to remain in ramadan the whole year .
so lets strive n work n struggle to be among those who reamin in ramadan all year , in diffrent ways n forms, to what ever extent InshahAllah.
Please DONT end Ramadan! Dont end it by ending the obedience, dont end it by slacking inprayers that u held on to firmly in ramadan , dont end it by leaving congregational prayers, Rnds when u have only half or one row in the fajr prayer as compared to a packed masjid in ramadan , please dont end it that way, let it live , let in go on , its only been one day and all the musaleen are gone already , HOW COULD WE TURN A 180 DEGREES IN ONE DAY! the masajid are empty, the quran are back in their shelfes , please dont end ramadan by ;leaving the quran and you held firmly to it in ramadan. please dont end ramadan by falling back into the same old sins and useless matters and fawahish that u refrained from in ramadan.
That is how ramadan ends , not by eid , it ends when the actions that we were upon end , and unfortunately they all end as soon as the month ends , signalling the end of ramdan.
So u can end Ramadan on 1st of shawwal , or u can choose to stay stead fast after ramadan,n from ramadan to ramadan , geting better n better, and you can choose to end ramadan when the angels come , n inshahAllah they will be angels with white and beautiful faces, bringing glad tidings for you before u return to your lord , n u are n the state of ramadan.
know that The Lord of Ramadan is also the Lord of the rest of the months
Know that if you were able to leave something for one month , u can go two months without it as well, n if u can go 2 months u can go four months without it n so on , if u were able to leave it for one month u can leave it for ever but its all down to you
and similarly if u were able to do good for one month , u can continue to do that good for 2 months n so on , as long as u want to , if u were able to pray at night for awhole month why should it end with the end of ramadan, try to continue it and do so with all the forms of khayr n good that u were upon in ramadan , barak Allahu feekum
Wa Billah al tawfeeq
