try this year :)


And call upon the people for Hajj. They will come to you on their bare feet or riding any weak camel and they come to you from every far desert. (Quran 22:27)
 
And whatever strikes you of disaster it is for what your hands have earned; but He pardons much.
(Ash-Shura: Verse 30)
 
This life is going to end soon:
“Know that the life of this world is but amusement and diversion and adornment and boasting to one another and competition in increase of wealth and children - like the example of a rain whose [resulting] plant growth pleases the tillers; then it dries and you see it turned yellow; then it becomes [scattered] debris. And in the Hereafter is severe punishment and forgiveness from Allah and approval. And what is the worldly life except the enjoyment of delusion.”
(Surah Al-Hadid, Verse 20)

Whatever you have will end, but what Allah has is lasting. And We will surely give those who were patient their reward according to the best of what they used to do.(20:96)
 
Life is not a reflection:
If you are honest, people may cheat you; Be honest anyway. If you find happiness, people may be jealous; Be happy anyway. The good you do today may be forgotten tomorrow; Do good anyway. Give the world the best you have and it may never be enough; Give your best anyway. For you see, in the end, it is between you and God, it was never between you and them anyway.

The decline does not start with life's unpleasantness. It begins when you let sadness linger more than it should and misery becomes you. Rise up! You are the torchbearer of your destiny.
 
Have patience you will get whatever you deserve:
Allah has promised, to those among you who believe and work righteous deeds, that He will, of a surety, grant them in the land, inheritance (of power), as He granted it to those before them; that He will establish in authority their religion - the one which He has chosen for them; and that He will change (their state), after the fear in which they (lived), to one of security and peace: ´They will worship Me (alone) and not associate aught with Me. ´If any do reject Faith after this, they are rebellious and wicked.
(An-Noor: verse 55)
 
Make righteous friends:
Close friends, that Day, will be enemies to each other, except for the righteous (Az-Zukhruf 43:67)
 
“And there is no sin on you concerning that in which you made a mistake, except in regard to what your hearts deliberately intend”
[al-Ahzaab 33:5]

try to sponsor an orphan.


The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "I and the person who
looks after an orphan and provides for him, will be in Paradise like this,"
putting his index and middle fingers together.

Bukhari Vol. 8 : No. 34

If possible , try to help a poor widow.



The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said "The one who looks after
and works for a widow and for a poor person, is like a warrior fighting for
Allah's Cause or like a person who fasts during the day and prays all the
night."

Bukhari Vol. 8 : No. 35
 
Everything will be paid back to you:
There, [on that Day], every soul will be put to trial for what it did previously, and they will be returned to Allah , their master, the Truth, and lost from them is whatever they used to invent. [Surat Yunus 10:30]
 
Give your knowledge to others:
Narrated Hamza's father: Allah's Apostle said, "While I was sleeping, I saw myself drinking (i.e. milk), and I was so contented that I saw the milk flowing through my nails. Then I gave (the milk) to 'Umar." They (i.e. the companions of the Prophet) asked, "What do you interpret it?" He said, "Knowledge." (Sahih Bukhari: Book #57, Hadith #30)

Speak kind words and cover other's faults:
"Kind words and the covering of faults are better than charity followed by injury. Allah is free of all wants, and He is Most Forbearing"
Surah Al-Baqara [2:263]
 
Be satisfied with what you have:
Narrated Ibn 'Abbas: I heard Allah's Apostle saying, "If the son of Adam had money equal to a valley, then he will wish for another similar to it, for nothing can satisfy the eye of Adam's son except dust. And Allah forgives him who repents to Him." Ibn 'Abbas said: I do not know whether this saying was quoted from the Qur'an or not. 'Ata' said, "I heard Ibn AzZubair saying this narration while he was on the pulpit." (Sahih Bukhari:Book #76, Hadith #445)

Avoid the traps of Devil




The Devil [Iblis] said, “If I am successful in persuading man to do three things, then that will be all I need:

◕ To make forget his sins.

◕ To regard his good deeds as too many.

◕ To be proud of his own opinion."

Abu Huraira is reported to have heard the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) as saying: It is letter for one among you to bring a load of firewood on his back and give charity out of it (and satisfy his own need) and be independent of people, than that he should beg from people, whether they give him anything or refuse him. Verily the upper hand is better than the lower hand, and begin (charity) with your dependants.
