Please tell me how you percieve the Gurus and the Bhagats who used the Word Allah, Ram, Khuda to discribe God? Were they not One with God? Because they would surly know the ''name'' of God that you want to shed light on?

Once again people like Kabir Sahib and Farid Sahib used Allah or Raam simply because of their Hindu/Muslim background. It doesn't mean they endorse teachings of the person who came up with word "Allah".

In fact, I read it at on place, Kabir Sahib, who was either a Muslim and raised by a Hindu family or a Hindu raised by a Muslim family, said that if God wanted him to be Muslim, He would have brought him into this world having natural circumcision. So it clearly shows that Kabir Sahib didn't believe in Islam although he used the already existing word like Allah for God.

Sorry brother, most of the Sikhs use word Allah here simply because they are on a Muslim site. It's like saying Ganga geye toh Ganga Raam, Jamuna geye toh Jamuna Daas. In other word, people start acting according to the place they go to and forget about their roots.

I don't like to post Gurbani here. So, please go read the whole Shabad on page 53 you are referring to. It isn't saying that Waheguru and Allah are the same. As far as it makes sense to me, what it means is that what people refer to as Allah is inaccessible and infinite.
 
Gurfateh, from what iv read cali dude seems 2 b very off track

i have a very strong Gursikh sangat, contacts and relations. non agree with what cali dude is saying. Guru Sahib uses all words from religions as Akaal Puraks name to show everyone that you all are worshiping the same thing, u jus call God different names. in that case, we shudnt call God God, becuz we dont know what the guys intensions where that fout of the word God......

read sri Guru Granth Sahib jee. all will be revealed itself..

Exactly! - The whole point of Sikhism and the Gurus was to show the world God himself had revealed that it is the one and same God we all quarrel and cause wars over (TO THIS DAY AS IS HAPPENING ON HERE IRONICALLY) He is not an individual one for Muslims, and Christians have their or Sikhs theirs. - Cali - Dude shoud detach himself from his own thought and contemplate on the Shabads. He then will understand without a doubt as does anybody who reads without prejudice.

This is really exasperating me....

What background was Guru Nanak Dev Ji from? What was his reason and what was Guru Arjan Dev jis reason?
 
Sorry guys, the way it makes sense to me is that gurus used the word Allah only when they talked about Muslims in Guru Granth Sahib.

Avar, you keep repeating the same thing that Guru Arjan Dev Ji referred to God as Allah. Did you even try reading the whole shabad on page 53 and understanding why he said Allah was inaccessible? You will have to read the shabad entirely to understand...

Of course i know. - I'm stating if Allah is not the same, then why would Guru ji even mention it in the Shri Guru Granth Sahib. Why was Thor, or Zues not mentioned? (Obvious reasons)
 
How is this Shabad aimed at muslims?

baabaa alhu agam apaar. paakee naa-ee paak thaa-ay sachaa paravdigaar. ||1|| rahaa-o. tayraa hukam na jaapee kayt-rhaa likh na jaanai ko-ay. jay sa-o saa-ir maylee-ah til na pujaaveh ro-ay.

The extent of Your Command cannot be seen; no one knows how to write it. Even if a hundred poets met together, they could not describe even a tiny bit of it.

there was another pictue that someone sent me, it a picture of makkah, and then a plane come and hits the kabah and blow it up....that the point i am think what have muslims done 2 u ?
 
sorry may i jus ask what do these previous posts hav 2 do with sikhism?may be they should be under hinduism or on the thread created by the hindu brother?
