I thnk we shud all try n make dis ramadan difrent den de othaz by doin more 'ibaadah n worship den usual, coz hu knwz if we wil liv 2 c dis ramadan, let alone nxt yearz ramadan. We shud pray 2 Allah dat we c dis ramadan, n if we do, den we shud b grateful n make da most of it.

Interestin note... did u knw the battle of badr was in ramadan?:?

Lol... yeh mashaAllah, the food woz gud.

Dat woz de 1st tym i saw Abduraheem Green, and Tawfeeq Chawdry speak. MashaAllah, der talks blew me away. I see Jalaal ibn Saeed speak all de tym tho, May Allah reward them. Bro Jalaal duz talkz in Cranford evry friday 7-10pm. Dey r very gud, mashaAllah!

But I felt so embarrassd dat sum of de sisterz wer chattin away. Dat is so disrespectful 2 the 'ilm dat dey wer sharin with us. Sum ppl wer even chattin whilst the quran was being recited, a'udhubillah.

SubhanAllah, it woz so uplifting tho in de end 2 c sistaz takin off der jewellery n puttin it in de collection box.... n sum sistaz pledging £5000. May Allah hav mercy on dem. All de sistaz around me emptied der wallets, mashaAllah.

Yeh, iss gud cuz iss a feelin of unity.. lyk especiali wen u got da radio ramadhan on and dey hav dem nex level krazy advertz abt pizza n stuf.. dey make u laf - buh u feel hapi cuz u feel dat da muslimz r united fo once.. i dno, iss jus dat wen ery1z 2geda, wit family, and da muslimz - den u feel lyk u belong 2 a propa muslim ummah.

Yeh, I knw exactly wot u mean sis.... dey becum slavez 2 ramadan instead of slaves of Allah! But whilst der heartz r soft in ramadan, maybe we shud take advantage of it n try 2 giv dem more da'wah. Ppl tend 2 giv u da tym of day in ramadan.

N I think we shud all try n do fund raisers in ramadan, inshaAllah. Coz ppl r more generous, alhamdulillah. N we shud add as much money 2 it from our own pocketz aswel. Ud b surprized how much money u can raize in 1 day...

Rememba the prophet (SAW) wrote lettaz 2 the rulerz of the landz around arabia... n invited dem 2 Islam. Sum of dem wer arrogant, but at da end of da day, it was the prophet's (SAW) responsibility 2 giv dem the message.


As it is ourz 2 giv the ppl around us da'wah. U knw we shud b givin our neighbours da'wah... n by neighbour, i mean 40 houses in each direction....:uuh:

Yh, buh u knw - giv em da'wah wit a sincere intention in ramadhan cuz der mite be some barakah (blessing) dat Allaah azawajal mite place in yo da'wah which mite influence or transform the person.. atleast if dey doin abit in ramadhan, den u got mo of a chance insha'Allaah compared 2 if dey dnt do it at all..

Rememba dat weneva u giv da'wah, neva start off on a point dat u differ on.. buh sutin dat u agree wit. Lyk even if u got bare differences, try to find a similarity, so dat u can wrk yo way up from der insha'Allaahu ta'aala.

Wel, if sum1 doesnt pray... u dnt say 2 dem, 'oi, why dnt u wear hijab', or 'why r u listenin 2 music', or for example.... if dey r drinking khamr u dnt say 'ukhti i saw u walkin in da masjid wit ur left foot....haram!'... coz der is obviously somethin wrng wit der iman.... u shud address da more important thingz first, n rememba 2 b gentle.:)
