Hey brother, there are many words in Urdu e.g. Ahali, Karanja etc. that are not in everyday use anymore. Seems to me that it's one of those words.

Hey brother, truly, I did get nicely that what you wanted to say. I'm a bit more sensitive so I get things quickly. You for sure know it doesn't mean this but you are asking me whether I was mocking you or not by intentionally giving wrong answers. No! I wasn't, I swear. Urdu words written in roman fonts sometimes become difficult for me to understand. Thants why I though "Zehen" was "Zaheen."

Hey brother, you truly are a nice brother. I misunderstood you may be coz you seemed to be a native Urdu speaker and native Urdu speakers know well and good that what 'Taskheer' means. Moreover, your next query was 'Tehqeer' which means 'Scorn / contempt'

I didn't know that you were a learner of Urdu language. I'm Sorry! for getting the wrong end of the stick. :)

By the way, I again swear that I didn't tried to do any such thing. I don't like to do such things coz I don't like it that others should do it to me.
 
I remember that I came across this word in Chemistry book. The best meaning of 'Muqattar' that I can tell in English is 'Purified.' Another similar word is 'Taqteer' meaning 'process of purification.'

Next word is 'Pechidah'
 
muqattar is distilling. u hav chemistry in urdu??


pechidah is twisted/coiled/complicated

I dunno what's the exact English word for 'Muhtasib.' I know it's a person 'Jo Ehtisaab karta hay.'

I guess that 'Inspector' can be a good equivalent.
