Ahh, mujhey Pakistan mai baarish acchi nahi lagti, actually acchi lagti hai lakin haar jaga paani baahr jaata hai! which is so annoying! Kahin bahar nahi jaa saktey bas chaath(roof) per jaa saqtey hai :

maine net pe search kari to mila ki Iqbal received his early education in the traditional maktab. Later he joined the Sialkot Mission School, from where he passed his matriculation
examination. In 1897, he obtained his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Government College, Lahore. If a person reads it a specific number of times (e.g. 11), n they think it is part of the religion to read it that many times, to phir ye bidat hai.

aap vese Allaah ke naam le kar duaa kare, as many times as u want.. that is recommended !

aap bidat ki baat kar rahi hai, taveez pehanna to shirk hai. If the taveez contains other than the Quraan or duas narrated from the Prophet :arabic5:, then there is consensus of the scholars that it is haram and constitutes shirk.

But, if the taveez has Quraan or duaas of Prophet :arabic5: then there is difference of opinion, but... stronger opinon says: not allowed ! It can lead to shirk.

vese bhi ikhtilaafi maslo mei... be on the safe side !

Also, doctor jab nuskha deta hai.. apni bemaari door karne ke liye ham vo nuskha kholte hai, padhte hai, samajte hai, jo doctor ne likha hua hai.. us par amal karte hai. Nuskha gale mei to nahi baand te na?

Isi tarha, Qur'aan bhi aik nuskha hai.. hamari jismaani, roohani, falani bemaario ka ilaaj hai. Gale mei baandne ke liye nahi, magar padhne, samajne, aur amal karne ke liya hai. tht is the only way to protect ourselves, n.. solve our illnesses & problems. :hmm:

so, tell them: behre, goonge, andhe kise ki baat nahi sunte.. esp wen there are clear proofs against what u are practicing.

But use a more tactful way of explaining (not like me). Bare hikmat aur khoooobursat tareeke se batana hai.. aur phir,

jab maar padhe gi... Sabr karna hai.
